I hope they continue the 2008 game into it's own series... I loved it so much! 
It was my favourite game of this generation until I played Mario Galaxy...

I hope it has the same or better version of very well made fighting mechanics from the Sands of Time.

I want a continuation to the 2008 Prince of Persia game; that game is extremely good. I loved the visuals, the combat, the world, and especially the discourse between the Prince and Elika.

There are so many things that are physically wrong with the whole stopping-a-liquid-in-time-turns-it-solid idea, but you know what? I'll go with it. Because this game looks awesome.

Come on people the 2008 version blew. I've tried so many times to get into it but it's just so damn boring. I spent 20 minutes traversing a world (without combat) to get to a point where I couldn't go a head any further because I didn't do something 20 minutes ago so I had to spend another 20 minutes going back. Picked a new path, 15 minutes later realized that was the wrong too. You guys really find that enjoyable? Bring on the SOT games!

At first I thought this was a terrible idea, but the game is looking nice. 

SOT was my #2 game of the last decade. This article gives me hope for this new Prince.

Judging by the screenshots, this still looks too much like the later two games in the PoP trilogy. More storybook aesthetics and less teenage angst, thanks.

Glad they are going back to the Sands of Time style gameplay. I did not like the PoP from 2008 at all. I loved the SoT trilogy, however. I also feel that Warrior Within was the best in the series, easily. Everything about that game was fantastic.

The PoP series is famous for having cool abilities and then holding your hand when it comes time to use them. The traversal is just too easy and it seems like they are attempting to make it somewhat of a puzzle. I'm obviously talking in reference to the new ability to freeze water. If you walk up to a wall with a number of fountains in it in a row, then it's obviously time to use that ability. Takes some of the marvel out of it.

I hope they fix the movements. The whole series except the latest one had problems with moving the prince.

This is cool and all but I'm super bummed they won't be continuing  PoP 2008 mainly because of narrow-minded people being upset that there wasn't a game over screen.

Yeah, that's exactly the reason, it's not that they want it to closer resemble the movie or anything. Because internet rants totally dictate publisher choices.

I'd rather you be right than me but dev interviews of the games underwhelming performance say otherwise. Either way I'm not happy...lol

I hope they get back to the 2008 storyline at some point, it was a beautiful game and I really liked the interaction between Elika and the "prince." Also, Nolan North.

Someone can explain to me why they replaced him with Robin Atkin Downes in Warrior Within and then he returned?

I love both guys, but Lowenthal barely fits in the role.

POP is my favourite franchise :) (crap, still need to finish WW,TTT and 2008 ><) I really hope they don't crap this up.  Seeing Ubi Montreal is working on it i guess it will be another awesome game =D I don't really see what the elements have to do with PoP though
