@ntm: Sadly, all story modes feel as if they've just been shoved in for the MP. My brother and sister both enjoy playing SP, so it's a shame for those people who enjoy playing single player to feel neglected.
The new Uncharted has been announced for a while now, and while the previous games have delivered spectacularly, this time, Nathan Drake isn't here. What will this mean for the series? What are your expectations and hope? Discuss them here.
Personally, i'm not ready to let go of Nate, he was the brave, funny everyday man adventurer, and I wonder who we'll get next, If Nate won't be the protagonist, i'd still like to see him get a role, whether as secondary character or a minor role, i'll just be happy to see him.
@mooseymcman: Our society tolerates violence, but not nudity. Kind of ironic.
Yeah, I think people are looking too much into it. Maybe Quiet is just a new female character with a twist. Everyone's expecting it to be something bigger just because it's Kojima.
@falserelic: Call of Duty does have a trend of recycling the same features and mechanics, but i'm hoping they'll change something by adding a new developer. Activision themselves must know that COD is recycled, otherwise they wouldn't have put a new developer on it.
@mooseymcman: I really don't know, what could possibly make complainers feel ashamed... that's why the only plausible explanation I can think of is if she were a male. It's within Kojima's scope as well, he likes controversial.
It would hurt sales if they put a naked girl as a main character, would provoke outrage from their women audience, children won't play it (and children do play it), it'll also be awkward to play with others, and it would be banned in youtube videos I believe, which would hurt their promotional aspect.
So the new Call of Duty is basically bound to happen. However, this time it's developed by Sledgehammer Games, a new developer joining Treyarch and Infinity Ward. As such, this next COD should be interesting with (hopefully) a fresh take on the series. In this thread, you can discuss your expectations, and hopes for the new Call of Duty game.
Personally, i'm hoping for war type matches, with like 32 or more players and bigger maps, although it likely won't happen.
What are you expecting, and hoping for in Call of Duty 2014?
