nah, at the very least it will be a good game worth my time. I honestly doubt they will fuck it up in any major way. The only problems that I see could be of technical nature.

I'll go ahead and not jump on the hate train here ... these are the first images I see of that movie and (I realize this is just a fast-cut-teaser) it looks neat. Looking forward to the trailer.

options are always good, but that seems like an unreasonable ammount of effort for 2.5-3 hour long podcasts.

I read a couple of times that it's just fine. The aiming with ranged weapons is obviously harder and there is a headshot-mechanic that is easier with M&K too. But I would think people that choose a gamepad for this game are good enough with it to adjust to that.

I don't think there is any auto aim though. But don't quote me on that, I'm not sure.

I would agree with you ... but it has to be said: If you didn't like L4D, you won't like this game.

And I hope they will do some DLC that adds more missions and maybe another faction to fight.
