I really didnt appreciate the shot of the driver adjusting his catheter. Also I wonder if the Porsche drivers think the race is supposed to go in the opposite direction.
So our corporate overlords CBS picked up the rights to air BTCC in America.
"The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship is delighted to announce its largest ever television deal in North America, after agreeing a multi-year contract which will see the championship broadcast on the giant CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) to 60+ million households across the US and Canada. A one-hour BTCC highlights programme will be screened on CBSSN in a prime time (Eastern time) slot on Wednesdays – ten days after each event – and will then re-air during prime time (Pacific time) soon after. The 24-hour home of CBS Sports will broadcast the highlights programme as part of its ‘Torque.TV’ Block on Wednesday evenings."
This is completely pointless however because anyone interested in the BTCC in America would want to watch the full races and probably just watches the races online anyway.
4 hours until the Bathurst 12 hour I will put up links to direct feed when they go live with coverage.
And this is a Gb exclusive. I managed to get a spy shot of Max Chilton in Russia testing the new 2015 Marussia/Manor GP F1 car!
My understanding is that Marussia sold off only what they needed to sell to pay enough debt that they could continue to exists. Beyond that I have no idea. Heres the news article but I dont know how reputable the website is. Marussia
@datarez: Yah, if I remember correctly it stayed up pretty well last year but the race is getting more popular with each running. Hopefully they can work out any kinks while they are showing last years replay so that tomorrow they are running smooth. Qualifying is in like an hour or something and they are going to cut from the rerun to show that.
