It's a little disappointing to see Obsidian - a company capable of doing pretty innovative things in new settings - going back and covering ground they've already covered. I guess that's one of the problems with kickstarters, you have to pander and appeal to people before you even start making a game.

I'm sure it'll be a great game though.

After playing some older games I've become pretty fascinated with a certain kind of Japanese music. They seem to use really particular percussion in strange keys, or have weird sounding voice/synth effects. To me it sounds super atmospheric and unlike anything else I've heard. Here are some examples of what I mean:

Hope you know what I mean from those examples. If anyone knows of some musicians who make this kind of music in Japan or other parts of Asia would really appreciate the recommendations. Cheers

@Khann: Yeah, anything I google inevitably turns up X3 and Freelancer, but they do seem to me to have a lot of combat. Maybe I'll watch some videos though to be sure.

I like the exploration and expansion side of space sims but most that I've tried seem to have shitty, clunky combat. Ur Quan Masters, Master of Orion 2, Flotilla, and Space Rangers 2 were all great until I found myself in boring space battles (that I usually lost). I really like Noctis IV since it's all about exploration, but it's a bit of a limited and old game now, which is also tough to run.

Any suggestions? Should I go even deeper into the past and try something like Elite?

In what way are all these phones 'wearing out'? About 10 people in this thread have said their phones are beaten up or wearing out. Are smartphones pretty fragile or something?

Like, I heard if this one book called "the game" but I'm not sure if it's just sleeze ball or if it actualy works. It's a book about pick up artists. Also, can some explain the life as a business post?

The life as business post is hilarious. As is the game. Don't read self-help books, read proper books, learn a skill, do something productive with your time. You'll feel a hell of a lot better about yourself and more confident than having a bald evangelist with a Britney mike scream buzzwords at you.

@alexl86: Last season was the first in a long time City where above Chelsea. Liverpool will probably struggle to finish in the top 6. Newcastle and Everton look good for breaking into the top 5 (certainly if Tottenham don't pick up form) and the title is certainly no given for either Manchester club, let alone one. It's a million times more competitive than Spain.

It's difficult to articulate because essentially they just feel different, minor differences in the ball physics, player movement, stuff like that. I'd say fifa is certainly more fun, with PES you have to wrestle a bit more to play great passes, though the shooting is a bit easier. The physical side of the game (jostling for headers and tackling) is also a bit more simple and logical in fifa, PES kinda feels a bit weak in comparison.

I know this is a strange request, but I've seen similar on GB over the years and of all the places to ask I figured this was the best. I've been checking out these dirt-cheap (but apparently awesome - they have a massive driver) IEMs for a while now but their shipping outside the US is ridiculous, $30!?.

Would anyone be willing to let me order them to their address, slap a forward address on and ship them over to me in London, UK? I'd pay fully beforehand through paypal or account transfer. I would be extremely grateful. I could even do the same in return if there's anything you want from the UK.
