My wife just bought me a new PC, Got the I7 4770k and nothing is taking full advantage of that card.As far as the 680 goes Your still fine for a while, my 770 is getting bored of the games Im playing. Like others have said, look into maxing out RAM and if you dont have a decent SSD invest in one...they are amazing.
I dont know what the fuck is wrong with me, was super into Baulders Gate as a kid, cant get into any newer Bioware RPG. KOTOR was the last one of those I was even interested in and I couldn't be bothered to finish that. That being Said I want to play the Mass Effect Series Ive started the first and second game about 10 different times each but always lose interest about 8 hours in. Same with Dragon Age.
Found this on Reddit...I did it and its pretty rad. Only wish it would have seamlessly looped back into its animation...there is a slight pause before restart.
I find it incredibly amusing that a handful of people here are spending literally HOURS of their lives trying to convince people they should be upset.
Yeah I cant believe that this is the largest thread on the Dark Souls 2 forum...I comment back on page two...and looking now I cant believe that there have been over 250 replies...completely baffles me.
This seems like a troll post, if you were seriously into Dark Souls/Demon Souls the last thing you would be worried about is Graphics. Frame-rate however is another thing entirely, because that effects game play. That coupled with atmosphere/dark story is the most important parts of the "souls" franchise. With all that being said, I'm waiting for the PC version that I already pre-ordered.
It is a big atmospheric difference if you go into a creepy and not well lit underground cave which screams danger or into some "well" lit wine cellar. So yes Graphics matter a lot for the atmosphere for a lot of people who love this series.
I agree and I see your point, but the first Dark Souls was able to create atmosphere with less than desirable "Graphics".
