@thatlad: Don't forget that nothing has been said about the Xbox one; hell, there is a snarky tweet implying everything is the same as now on Xbone earlier on in the thread. So if in the very worst case Sony has completely lost their shit over video, which I really doubt; all giant bomb would lose is first party PS4 games which is like 1% of content at best. I do think the Xbox will be the favoured console by press again this time though, if any of the rumours are true.

I'm only getting a PS4, but the paid online wouldn't put me off getting both. Hell, I'm currently paying for Plus and Xbox live gold, on a xbox which literally can't get online at the moment.

Well, that is totally unexpected.

Sarcasm aside, a part of me feels really sad that a game as unexpected and original as Arkham Asylum has fallen into just going through the motions with its sequels, but that's modern video games I suppose. Hopefully Rocksteady is brewing something special, but I think its going to be real tough to hit the highs of the original.

I think I would have to say Night Watch by Terry Pratchett. I really like the slightly darker tone the book has over his other work, and I think that it makes it one of his most interesting novels. I really need to read that book again.

According to the coming soon there will be a Breaking Brad this week, as well as daily DOTA, so they're not mutually exclusive. I get the impression that daily DOTA doesn't impact any of the other stuff, so why not.

I think a lot of it is how scrutinised the video is by the audience. I've certainly spent like 20 minutes figuring out a dumb puzzle or gone hours into a game missing a key mechanic, but I'm not playing the game for an audience so I can just brush it under the carpet and forget about it. When your watching the game every mistake gets noticed, and a slight hitch in progress seems to last hours. Furthermore, the audience is free to focus on the deeper mechanics of the game without having to think about actually playing the game getting in they way, so of course the viewer will be a step ahead.

The actual end of a Football Manager game has not yet been defined, but it could last for hundreds of hours, with "new" players constantly being generated. It's basically how long you can last without the program crashing.

I think the only way to heal this wound is to let Jeff and Miku to fight it out on SaltyBet. We need to relive the tension.

@joshwent: Well, to be fair I'm only in the special thanks because I agreed to buy it early so it could get made, along with a ton of other people, so the crowdfunding thing does probably apply to me. Perhaps only putting up notable backers, who already have a page or are at least well known people in the industry, is the best solution?

As someone who has just been printed in the special thanks part of an actual, physical manual for a video game, namely the European release of Devil Survivor 2, I fully support the addition of special thanks people to the wiki.
