what a sad day. This start of this whole year has been rough for me, this doesnt help it much. I was hoping to wake up to this friday with a good laugh while watching the 1up show, but now thats gone. i hope the laid off staff form a site like giant bomb

i use avast, saved me from a explorer kill virus where it caused explorer to crash and restart. Some how after a while avast caught it and now its my best friend XD.

hmmm i would have to say original bionic comando and contra. Those games were not nice to beginners back then :(

now that i think of it Nox could use a good sequel, that was the game that got me into dugeon crawlers in the first place, though i never play any of them anymore

deus ex has a sequl called invisible wars. They are making dues ex 3 now. lol way yo be with the curb. for the most part though alot of games already have a sequal coming, like beyond good and evil and bioshock

well your idea wasnt too bad overall. Really though in the end ultimately the best way to solve the problem imo is downloadable content and multiplayer. The thing that kept me from pirating games like COD4 was the online play. You cant get downloadable stuff to work usualy unless you buy the game also, though pirates im sure have found a way to get it to install probably

ya i need to get one of those. I have a old logitech dual anolog thing i use for games like devil may cry, its not that bad, just i like the xbox controler more

wait i dont see how "they wouldnt need to keep messing about with 2 seperate teams" thing comes to play here. if its a seperate OS, how can there be just 1 team. if its like that your making it sound like a system.

as for the whole "useless annoying bg stuff", you make it seem like everyones dual boot is just another full version of the os. Alot of people (well i do anyways) have special cut down versions for there gaming partition or dual boot. Like im using vista sp1 with all the crap cut out and i have like 10 processes going, 0 things on start up, no firewall or internet protection (since theres nothing but games on the partition) and just basic internet stuff (not even flash). Using vlite you can fix all those things that bug you like msn and useless processes.

And in the end it is really still inconvient, having to switch still annoys me and ive been doing it for a couple months now

bleh dont waste money on sli imo. Unless your going to cranking at insane resolutions its not really needed. also you'll need to buy a high watt power supplie if you do decide to get it.

As for OS, i hear 64 bit vista is holding up pretty well lately with the newest sp so you may want to check it out. Ill probably get alot of neh say for involving vista, but its not too bad. I personally hated alot of features so i just cut it down to nothing with vlite and just kept of the prioties for gaming. I recemend if you do get vista and have some basic knowledge to check out vlite, its the tool i used to cut vista and remove alot of the aimless crap on it. Pretty basic stuff, just google it and you'll probably also find alot of guides.

also if you do pick up a 64 bit os, might as well use the saved up money from not buying extra cards for sli and pick up a bit more ram just to make more use of using a 64 bit.

ill probably check it out later. I do all my browsing basic stuff on my mac, so its not supported yet. The features are pretty old stuff though, firefox has "incognito" also, its just get the addon called stealther
