What's up with new people bumping threads nearly 2 years old?

They probably find the threads from google/some other source and make accounts specifically to contribute them, not realising how old they are. I doubt anyone actually searches the forums for these topics and resurrects them.

Anyway, probably Civ 4 and 5 local multiplayer for me. Several 10-12 hour sessions. I played through Bioshock Infinite in two sessions interrupted only by sleep and food, but it was the Xbox version so I don't know my play time. Pokemon Blue and X have probably come close to the 8 hour mark for me too, but those are the games you can play while doing something else so it's not quite the same.

edit - I guess the simplest way to find out why new users bump old threads is to ask them directly. @miko1222, how did you come upon this thread?

Had some trouble with the bees today. Anyone have any tips for handling them? I find that unless I have the shotgun and a narrow horizontal entrance to the hive/a way of baiting them out one by one, I'm unable to deal with them consistently.

Edit - or wasps I guess.

Exercise caution when trying this on frogs in the jungle.

@kaineda77: I was considering buying a USB SNES controller for D-Pad precision in this and other 2D PC games, but I'm worried about the relative lack of buttons. You find the SF4 pad comfy?

Ghost mine the ice caves. It's wide open and you should have the gear to move around freely.

So obvious I can't believe I hadn't already thought of it, thanks.

@ch3burashka: Holy cow that is a dark version of a delightful comic.

Didn't manage much on the daily challenge today on only my third attempt, but on a later run I finally pieced together enough of what I've been learning in one go to make it deep into the caves and score close to 150,000, which for me was very satisfying. Robbed the black market, got the Ankh, accidentally found out what it does... a thrilling run for a beginner.

Excuse my ignorance but how are you all sharing these videos? I had a mooch around the game menu and can't seem to find anything.

Edit - Oh, and congratulations @ateatree!

@darthorange: yeah, Venusaur crushed it in the first battle but the introduction of Reuniclus for the second really changed things. We were kind of dancing around in circles until Reuniclus was gone, at which point I was fairly confident Venusaur could do the rest if I could get him in cleanly.

Myself and @ohpmckenzie just played our first round match, I took it 2-0. Sadly we both forgot to save the first video, but the second was a much better contest anyway:

FT: 6IV Shiny Sliggoo that, sadly, is a clone <= shares a trainer ID with a Goomy on this list, 02896.

LF: Offers. Clones are no good where I usually trade, so I'm not looking for equivalent offers, just any old thing really.
