Sometimes. Yeah, sometimes I do. I remember being burned too many times by shit RPGs in the 90s, though. And watching some rented anime tapes recommended by friends and thinking "Jesus, what are they thinking liking this shit?" I took an animation class in college focused on the Japanese style where we watched a plethora of films. One girl there was...kinda creepy...and kept bringing hentai video games to show the class in presentations trying to justify underage nudity and tentacle rape. That ruined me on it all a bit, too.

Don't get me wrong, Anime itself is fine, it's just like any other genre: a few gems but mostly overloaded with crap. Some of my favorite games (Xenogears, Valkyrie Profile) are anime style, and a few of my all time favorite movies and shows (Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Grave of the Fireflies and just about any other Miyazaki joint). But yeah...some just turn me off right away. I usually can't stand 'cute girl' characters at all, with the high pitched, high energy voices. Ugg.

It's a great game so far, but I got my save corrupted after 10 hours of OCD completionism (Look at my avatar photo expanded and you'll see how I play these games) and I'm just not able to bring myself to start al that shit again. Plus the vent glitch in Burnley Tower. I'm at least waiting until the single player patch they promised comes out.

Vinny is a great fucking everything. It's hard for me to think of a guy that is so charismatic and technically skilled as him. Ryan had charisma and tightness, of the cuff appeal and was great, but Vinny is not just a jack of all trades, he is a master of at least most of them.

Shit, did that sound wrong? That was in no way meant to detract from Ryan's legacy, though. God, that still fucking bums me out. You know what I miss the most. Viney/Ryan repartee.

Just got my auto renewal today and instead of also auto-shipping a t-shirt, I've got this here $15 coupon for the store. Problem is, all the shirts I would have wanted were limited time and there is no new 2014 Member design yet. Os, since those are often made by community members, I was wondering if anyone knew if there are any designs on the way.

So, I'm guessing that everyone noticed it's a house full of bootleg tapes, but every tv is missing the VCR. Poitedly so, since the A/V cables are still in the spots you would expect them to be. I actually thought that this would come up, and maybe it did when the dad got the letter to step up his hifi reviews of stop. My best guess is that he cut ties to the magazine and sent them back all his review units, but there isn't any confirmation of this that I found. Maybe he threw them all away in a fit of rage, as the portrait of his dad missing the face might suggest too. Or maybe the devs through that with all the tapes lying around, it would be to tough to design video playback and too obvious an absence in such a highly interactive world where you have other tapes you can play. Any thoughts? Did anyone else this this was oddly suspicious absence?

Alex tweeted he'd be in the office in two weeks. I imagine they will do something with him. I don't mind them taking a break, hell, I'd do the same if my co-worker/best friend/life of the show passed on too.

That does lead me to a question I'm a little squeemish to bring up....Um...They gotta fill that seat, right? I mean, just in a workload and coverage sort of way. Any speculation on who they might invite to join GB as an editor?
