Other than Persona 5, Dragon Ball FighterZ is the most excited I've ever been for a video game since I was 5 years old. Honestly, I get real misty-eyed when I see those characters' movesets and animations. Clearly a ton of love, or at the very least exhaustive research, went into that game.

Monster Hunter World also looks like it could be amazing.

@kblosnack: on a phone so I can’t quote. I think they’re two separate categories. Cuphead will win “Best Looking Game” in a landslide, but Best Styyyyyyyle is about that swagger, which Persona 5 has for days.

The game isn’t even out yet. And for all my problems with Persona 5’s writing, I think it’s the best JRPG since Persona 4 Golden, which is the actual king of JRPGs. This game has a really uphill fight against P5 in my book. /hotTake

I'll agree with everyone saying it should be EA for hottest mess. So many crazy things going on with them this year. However, I think a point in favor of Battlefront is that it apparently has the CEO of Disney personally making some phone calls to EA, which, with my admittedly limited understanding of business, seems insane.

It's 2017. Bowser can be whatever Bowser wants to be.
