Here is Australia the parties are a joke, they don't even bother to put facts forward to try an combat the other party's points just yell and on a few occasions, throw fists at each other.
It appears we aren't so different...

It depends on one's point of view. For many people political parties are irrelevant, but for those in political office and some fringe idiots (not to mention one corporation of news)  political party is ALL that matters.

@Asurastrike: I'm not into emulation anymore. Plus it gives me a lot to play on the 3DS.

I just read your username, turtlebird95, so you're like 16 an probably were too young to play any of those games anyway. So this is probably great for you. :P

I can't figure out why people always assume the final two numbers are birth years. I frequently use "11" at the end of usernames, but that is neither my birth year (greetings from this coming November, which will be my literal birthday) nor my graduation day (which seems quite logical in turtlebird's case). I just love the number 11 for a myriad of reasons.

The difference is that 11 isn't a year you could have been born, whereas 95 is.

Discriminating against (very) old gamers? 1911 young sir! Again though, 95 could just as easily be a graduation year, a phenomenon which I am more familiar with. I don't hold any particular attachment to 1990.
See because the Internet tradition I know and loathe holds that the last two numbers are almost always saying "I'm this old. Wanna cyber?"
... Things got weird after my generation, didn't they?

A generation is ~20 years, so really your generation just ended with the new year.

I must have been three months overdue then, because i don't get all this Bieber Black Twilight Crap

Wow. I maintained from launch, right through E3 that Nintendo would never ever drop the price less than a year after releasing a new piece of hardware, and I never would have dreamed 80 bucks. Sure glad I held off, though I might still wait. This makes it clear that Nintendo knows they did something wrong, and I'll bet the farm they'll have a hardware revision revealed within 12 months. Tales will be so tempting though...

Newegg is yo friend. So is posting on facebook that you're looking for computer parts. Motherboard- I don't know enough to help with the motherboard. I had one sold to me with the assurances it was good, and it was. I don't have any specs for it. video card- there's good deals on worthwhile video cards all the time.  Power source- its something I would spend on from the start. Buy one over 650 watts so that you won't have to worry about upgrading it.  I think I got mine for 50-60 bucks though, so they aren't horribly expensiveCase-since you are on a limited budget, this can wait. School districts often sell their old computers and cases for really cheap, and those cases would work fine. Unless you get a large video card. That's what I used at first, and things fit snugly, but perfectly. Since then, a friend sold me another, pretty darn nice one after he bought a new one himself. HDD- Get a big one now. You'll be saving everything to it. I bought myself a TB a few months ago at Newegg on sale for 60$. Its not terribly fast or anything, but I love it. If you must have a solid state, that's fine I suppose but I don't think they're worth it.  CD-DVD- I've got one that apparently worked in a computer 7 years ago. The only time I've used it was to install windows and sim city 4.  RAM- I've got two gigs, but you should be fine with one.   If you manage your cash decently, 800 bucks should be more than enough. Start off small, and If you've got cash left over, so be it. Like I say, splurge on the Power Source and Hard Drive, and you'll probably want to spend big on the motherboard, but I don't know much about that as mentioned above.
And of course ill have to worry about a sceen. Speakers. OS.
Or you plug the HDMI into a TV. thats what I do. Negates the need for a screen OR speakers. Operating system will be necessary tohugh, and I'm not sure whether XP is a good bet for a gaming rig or not. 7 has been great but if you're trying to save a bit...
