I played this game for 200+ hours. It's pretty good.

Spider-Man had a hella-good year in 2018, aside from the snap, I guess. It's weird, there's no one thing that truly sets this game apart from other open world games with Arkham combat, but this was just so solid, I wrung out all the content it offered.

So many super clever Spirits too. This is just a full, super-charming package.

This is a cut above any previous remake for a game. Toys For Bob knocked it out of the park, and I absolutely devoured these. So much care and craft went into re-imaging all the characters, animations, and worlds of Spyro.

It feels weird and wrong to put this so low on this list, because it's an amazing game, but I still had more fun with each entry above it.

From a gameplay standpoint, this is a great improvement over the previous entries, and I love the new Grenadier units, but the story never hit the highs of the original for me.

This game looks amazing and feels great. Story mode, for as funny and clever as it is at times, way overstays it's welcome.
It did also birth All Systems Goku, though!

This game is beautiful, charming, witty, thoughtful, and really fun to play. It also feels weird to put this one so low, but there were lots of great games this year.

I was really looking forward to this, and did enjoy the time I spent with it, but it would be foolish to deny it's glaring content issues. I intend to return eventually, because it does sound like the ship is being righted, if you'll pardon the pun.
