Oh aren't the two of you just the cutest! Would love to see you play a co-op game with Griffin, if possible.

Obviously a lot of people are excited about this but I feel a bit burned out on the Mass Alex concept. We've had a lot of it over a relatively small space of time. Would have preferred an Exquisite Corps 2 or a Shenmue 2 ER (the vapourwares of GB?) for the sake of variety - but, hey, this'll still be enjoyable I'm sure.

Also, come on Alex, part of life is living with choices that result in arbitrary bullshit. So, when I get around to properly watching this (and in defiance to your pursuit of perfection), I'm just gonna look away from the screen everytime Tali appears and play 'I will remember you' over the top.

Also, I'd take wet blanket Kayden over xenophobic ashley!

24 QL's this year so far and only 8 are from GB East and 1 from East & West, if its cause Dan left they need to hire someone ASAP.

You just need to look at the big games that were quick looked in January/February 2019 to see that it's nothing like 2020. We had Crackdown 3, Far Cry: New Dawn, Trials Rising, Anthem, Metro Exodus, Tetris 99, Kingdom Hearts III, DOTA Auto Chess and Resident Evil 2 remake - and there's a couple I didn't include. Now look for games at an equivalent (somewhat subjective, of course) level of prominence in the 2020 quick looks: DBZ: Kakarot and Warcraft III: Reforged, maybe? But I'm not sure I'd even mention these two in that above list if they were released in early 2019.

I'm sure Dan's departure has had an effect, but I just think they're probably having to spend a bit more testing out games to see what they want to quick look as the obvious candidates aren't really there. Doom, Animal Crossing and Ori are soon enough, I guess.

Additionally, they're probably doing a lot of thinking and planning around what new shows they want to do and how they want to structure their content. The Party of One change, to me, reflects that. East was reorganising their office not too long ago. Some of the staff members have been facing some adversity and challenges that they're getting through (and that's just the stuff we see or they have allowed us to see/know about themselves).

So, sure, the numbers go some ways to telling some of the stories; but they don't tell the whole story. I get it. I'd like some more stuff to watch, especially when I'm sat here feeling unwell, lethargic and bored, but shit happens.

Anyway, onto the game. This looks very neat. I saw it was added to Game Pass and I put it under Phoenix Point in my list of PC Game Pass games to play - but I think I'll have to look at this first when I get the chance.

Also, as first commenter says, this should be in the Unfinished category rather than Quick Looks anyway as it's early access.

Ahh, outro goes some ways to explaining why this past month I kept seeing ghost PokeMonday Night Combats on the schedule and then finding no archive and then thinking I was the only one who was seeing it. I stopped short of a concocting a conspiracy to hold down PMNC enacted by an enraged Jeff having Popplio withdrawal symptoms, of course...

I never thought I would see Jasper Carrot on a bombcast thumbnail.

No other words need be said.

Of all the times where Vinny has acted in a morally reprehensible fashion, this is the one I have felt the most guilt about while laughing.

Nice to see that the Rorie streams will be archived here from now on (does saying it make it so*...?) I don't play Magic or any other multiplayer card game like it (I do dabble in single-player card games) but they are always easy background watching for when I'm doing work.

It does seem as if MTGA could perhaps benefit from a more decipherable colour scheme or bigger/clearer number indicators. It's all a bit bland and samey. With Hearthstone et al, it's rather easy to eye what's going on - even in a minimised screen and with a small amount of attention. When I was watching this the other day, I was actually quite distracted because of the lack of numbers popping out. I had to really focus for longer than I wanted to (no offence intended!) on the video to gain context.

It's a nice enough style, and I don't imagine most hardcore Magic players are looking for Play-Doh colour schemes to invade their super serious fantasy love-in, but in the age of streaming and attacks on our attention it does seem like a bit of an oversight?

*A cursory Tune into 'Star Trek: Picard' on Giant Bomb's CBS All Access, America's sweethearts.

Thanks for this Rorie!

The two missing from my list are Dangerous Driving and Wilmot's Warehouse. Not surprised by the former but a wee bit surprised the latter didn't sneak in. It seems like a lot of people liked it but maybe just not enough to make their top 10, I'd guess.

I am delighted that 51 other people valued Shenmue III - hopefully, like me, unironically! Nice to see Kind Words sneak in as well as Neo Cab in the pure vote list. Also Outer Wilds and The Outer Worlds almost had the same amount of votes as each other which is perhaps the most fitting thing across these lists.

It sounds like this has been a bit of a tough one for Rorie to compile this year but I'm wondering if it would be possible to get the Top 500 list on a blog like last year? Only if it's not a lot of extra work, of course!
