I guess it's sunk cost. No need to torture myself over what are effectively phantasms.

Space Cadet: Forgotten Pinball in Plain Sight

Not sure how many of you out there are pinball fans, but I got to put a lot of time into an almost gameless system's Space Cadet pinball.  You know what I mean?  For PC users with Windows I think it still comes standard, at least for XP machines.  It's a table from Full Tilt Pinball, which was developed by Cinematronics and published by Maxis, which now has a more goofy graphic replacing the cooler one from before, but is otherwise the same game.

It's really fun.  There are some frustrating elements, where there are timers on all the things you achieve that reduce the level of that achievement after 30 seconds, preventing you from building up bonuses unless you're really aggressive and a good shot, and when you drain all you get to keep is the points and completed missions.  I like it though, because unlike those ramp-heavy games there's not a lot of downtime and there are plenty of lesser-known techniques for getting a good pile of points.

Another game I wouldn't mind playing again is Epic Megagames' Android, although I remember that achieving anything was harder than in Cadet.  Never did bring that android to life...

Any pinball favorites, in software form or otherwise?
