Played these in a Language other than English
Didn't learn much, tho', 'cept the language of games is a universal one. Perestroika isn't in the database. Pity!

Nothing like trial and error to beat word puzzles, Metal Hurlant. I think the French only made the game more intriguing and exotic. We beat the thing eventually. Great game anyway, I think, even if it was a bit staid. Not sure how it'd hold up now but it's got a lot of Prince of Persia lineage in it. That and the animation and backgrounds were really fun. Tough, though, and unforgiving at times.
Here it is. I just called it Perestroika. It shows how far my ability to read Cyrillic characters has advanced; I now know what some of the words actually mean!
I think it was 3. The one where they let you have Japanese language dub instead of English. It made if feel less cheesy somehow, so I could just ignore the repeated phrases, or pretend they were saying something else. Not sure if this technically qualifies with above, but this list ain't so big yet, so I don't much care.
First time I ever tried to play a game with NO LANGUAGE. Turns out Language=0 means variables and fake Latin.
