Signs I May Have a Modern Computer
Underneath each of them may be a NEW obstacle I face in playing them that replaces not having a good enough computer!!

May work under Windows 7, but my computer spit it out like a baby chucks pease porridge
Steam... I'm playing so much Skyrim right now I've not even cracked this yet.
All the extra content and patches are online... Since it's a GOTY style release, I feel like they didn't patch it on purpose. Ah, and you need to be online to get the basic game, or it automatically uninstalls on you. Oh well, this is a lot less painful than it used to be... I'll live. ... And after I've been playing for most of two days, many others have died. Over and over.
Steam... Now that it's registered I play it offline, like a luddite.
I may actually get to play this, now.
I may actually get this... But haven't yet.
So far I've bought nothing from them.
I am playing this. Apparently there is some enemy called the darkspawn. They talk about them quite a lot. It's sort of like reverse Mad Libs, where all the key terms are already entered for you: "Hey," said Michael "What's that _Darkspawn_ _fading_ in your _Chantry_?" "Not a thing!" replied Helen _magely_, "It's just waiting for the _Witch_of_the_Wilds_ to find my _Alistair_!"
Um... I can now create the smallest world with the longest history without my computer overheating. This game is a beast.
Doesn't crash anymore! (I'm sorry for killing that bird. I didn't mean it.)
No game more reminds me of how slow my connection speed is. Downloading it would take more than half a day.
I use slower movement speed on purpose, now.
ditto
I land so fast it looks like I'm crashing.
This will run, and I have it on my damned hard drive!
I think I may like this, but I guess it's down to how I take to the controls.
I think this is the one I have. Can't tell from the photo.
Not too expensive.
Brilliant visuals, squishy kid death.
Fine, I'll play you.
Yes, but... it's not multiple brothers.
Our PCs were that crappy before, yes.
I hear things.
Looks like mosaic in screenshots.
Heard it's spooky.
I'm actually the least jazzed about this one. Given my penchant for trying to perfect things... actually, that explains it totally.
Not the actual game, just the thing that tells you if your machine can play the game. Still hope I might get it, some day... And on that future day, I did! Also bought Roadside Picnic on the same day.
I got three months free.
Well... I wonder how good it'll be now that I actually have a chance to PLAY it :)
And I did, and I liked it, and it still hit the notes it wanted to hit even though I already saw them coming, but the bell curve sort of made me not feel very differentiated toward the end, like all my choices sluiced into a single build.
First game I ever actually bought through Steam. Will probably take me all week to download.
Heard good and bad things about it, but I can't help but be intrigued by the no-load runs people have made in this game. Only cost me five bucks, anyway.
I've heard it's repetitive, so it might be a game I play on and off so it doesn't wear out its welcome.
Part of the pack with one. I'm actually sorta not looking forward to the metaplot... I guess when I heard about the first game I just wanted to see a medieval city realized. The distance between preview and product is VAST.
Yeah, I'm curious how another company will treat the property. Maybe there will be a bit of life extension to the game too.
Surprise gift means the soaking of ambiance is possible.
Now I understand.
