Dragonball Xenoverse 2 on the Switch. Somehow I got to the point of paying 100 dollars for the game and all the DLC this last week. It is a weird game but man there is something monster-hunter ish I like about it...

Final Fantasy 7... That game is everything that went wrong with that series to me. I am a FF5 guy but pretty much like everything before FF7 in the main series. I legit think that game is utter trash along with MUCH [not all, even with it's myriad of flaws FFXI is still my favorite game of all time.... but that is a bit diff it being an MMO so I don't count it in the same way... FFXI was basically a FF5 MMO anyway...] that came after it. I mean this with respect but yeah this is kinda the point of the topic maybe to be a touch harsh lol

Vegeta to me has some of my more enjoyable moments in Super, and the way they wrote Goku in super became a bit too self aware of how he is at times, even compared to DBZ and DB. I still REALLY like Goku in Super, but they do kind of mess up his character somewhat. He seems to basically care about NO one in Super. In DB and DBZ he always had a desire to fight and train but he at least got serious and would fight for his loves ones.. but in super now he just is really dumb.

Here are a few of my fave moments:

First one of the best Vegeta vs Goku battles ever [I love so much about this filler episode, it was like the episode in Z where Goku and Piccolo learn to drive a car, and this one is especially good with yamcha that pays off BIG time in the end [of the full episode, not this clip]]. Basically they are all playing baseball and NO one but Yamcha even knows the rules. Pretty great. You can find the whole episode legit on crunchy role I think for free no login or anything required. I recommend it even if you are not caught up to what is going on [but maybe some minor spoilers as to what happens in Cell saga and early Majin Buu era in DBZ]

Loading Video...

One where Goku's powers are all broken cause of some sickness for a few days he can't control them. I put this one in a link cause half the video isn't that important, so jump ahead to the good part. Vegeta is in that one too pretty good.

Then here is where goku "Forgot his tractor" which I though twas pretty good.

Those were all from filler episodes of super but those sometimes give the best character building.

In DBZ it is tough. I think Vegeta has some of my favorite character building in the series, especially in a episode coming up with Frieza in a couple weeks in the podcast. But Goku totally. Vegeta wouldn't be that interesting in Z without Goku there too. I mean Vegeta is still like a hair short of Goku, but I think Vegeta being so reliant on Goku for his own character makes me put it to Goku. Plus I just plain like Goku as a main hero character.

To me it feels like another No Man's Sky situation. In theory some amazing core mechanics... but no real content there to actually do to take advantage of the mechanics in any interesting way.

There is some amazing gameplay fundamentally built in under the surface... but they just didn't add enough actually stuff to do with that gameplay in an interesting way.

This almost sounds like a No Man's Sky situation. Great premise and gameplay in theory but just not enough actually there....

Bummer. Looks like a cool game in theory but not enough of the content there to make me actually buy it going by this thread.

I am also curious about this. I haven't gotten it yet but I am very interested in it.... It looks cool but I am not sure it has that hook to keep me playing it long as far as progression goes.

PUBG is hardly an original game. There were a million junky versions of that concept ons team and it was the first one to finally barely be decent enough to get really popular. Fortnite is naturally enhancing the formula.
