The early 20th century, right around the time of the First World War, would be an interesting place to set something. Imagine having the ability to completely change history by altering alliances, or revealing battle plans, and other subversive activity. The world was such a different place; the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires still existed, as an example.

Best of all, you can still incorporate shooting, because many of the world's most classic & iconic firearms were "new" around that time. The Lee-Enfield No.4, or the Mauser K98, or the C96 pistol, and many others up to the Lewis or Maxim machine-guns. And back then, there was still cavalry. It's just a really interesting period of time in a lot of ways.

That'd be cool. I'd enjoy a game that isn't Big Boss since it seems he'll be starring in the other game.

What I'd really like to see is a game with Liquid Snake as the lead, and set during his prime sometime in the 80s or 90s.

Gotcha on wanting to keep it. My friend's is playing videos just fine today, it's possible that your particular unit is defective. Try rebooting it if you haven't already. (Hold down the power button for 5 seconds or so til it's fully off)

This will not help, but I'll add it in. A friend of mine has similar issues with her Kindle Fire HD. She had to download a freaking app to get youtube videos to work since they wouldn't run in her Silk browser. I'd suggest looking into the Google Nexus 7 tablet if the Kindle Fire HD owner is still within their return period. The Nexus 7 JUST WORKS in all the places I've seen the Fire HD drop the ball. Plus you can access all the Kindle books and Amazon App Store content on the Nexus 7. Again, sorry for the lack of suggestions but it's something to keep in mind if the issue can't be resolved and the return window is still open.

I agree with the staff about framerate completely. If a console game goes below 30fps on a regular basis then it means the developers didn't have the sense to dial back the graphics enough to assure a good experience.

Good bit of short story on The Message, the end was stupid but hey! the journey was fun.

Those crappy rehash Forerunner weapons ripped out of the game or totally redone without being analogs to existing guns. I also wouldn't mind if they just gave up on making new enemies if they're going to be as boring as the THREE TOTAL in 4. So glad the multiplayer was good...
