Regrettable Purchases

Games that I've had permanent buyer's remorse from. Games that leave a stain on you that make you wonder why did I buy this? Some aren't that terrible it's just they
weren't my cup of tea.

List items

  • I love puzzle games, and I loved the concept, it's just it was way too "kiddy" (and I hate saying that, sounds like I'm stuck up), for me. And in reality just looking at it, it looks like a kids game. I actually had some fun with it, but it got boring FAST. Played it for probably 5 hours at most. Uggg

  • I was young and stupid and heard about how these games were crazy fun. Played it with a few friends and had a good time, but it wasn't worth the 40$. Sold it back to the store. Uggg

  • The promise of this was way more than it could do. It was a novelty for a twelve year old, and I totally bought into the gimmick. I brought it to a couple parties and had a good time with it, but looking back it was just a gimmick, that couldn't last very long. These are my worries for natal.

  • It got good reviews and was decently fun, but WAY too short, and it couldn't live up to my THPS2 standards.

  • Should have learned from the first THUG, but you know me I'm stupid. I bought this for some odd reason I can't remember why. I beat it in like 4 hours. I was like what, that's it. Uggg 50$ down the drain.

  • All this hype about this crazy fad in japan making it over made me want it for some odd reason. Played with it for a day and came to the conclusion that it wasn't an actual game. Took it back the next day. Uggg

  • Oh god. The alure of the wii, the "revolution" made me buy this game. Oh my god what a piece.

  • Not a bad game at all. It's just I figured I would pop it in and obsess over it for days straight and have a good time. I put it in once, played for an hour, and never played it again. I just don't have the desire I guess. Theoretically I could go beat the game right now, and would probably have a good time with it, it's just that I have zero desire to do so.

  • Stupid crazy japanese fads. Everyone was talking about this crazy game and how it was pretty fun and addicting. I bought into the hype. Played it a couple of times, and then never did again. It's not bad, it's just not my thing.

  • Another stupid Wii purchase. The concept seemed good and I had heard great things about the DS game. I really wanted games for my Wii so I got this. Played it a decent amount, and it wasn't bad, it just was pretty hard and it wasn't my thing.

  • I got this game with my Gamecube. All the reviews said that it was awesome, and really it was, but it just didn't really hold up. It go boring after a while.

  • Loved Gears 1. Would have been completely satified with Gears 1.5, but no they had to fuck up the mulitplayer. The multiplayer in the first was perfect IMO, well at least for the people who understood it. Wasn't too intuitive for beginners. Sort of Hard to learn Hard to master kind of game. Well yeah I was Damn good at Gears, and then they fucked up Gears 2 to make it almost unplayable for me. One of the most frustrating games I've ever played. Wish I never bought it. Piece of Shit.
