  • There's no game I've anticipated more than Skyrim. The time I've put into Oblivion is innumerable (but the number is definitely four digit). I just get lost in the immersion of the world. I love creating a Dark Elf Assassin and play through the Dark Brotherhood storyline, or a Breton Mage who become a Daedric Prince. What enthuses me the most about this game is the removal of the attributes system, which was the flaw of leveling system in Oblivion. They forced you to level up skills in certain intervals to optimize your build. I also think they removed the leveled monsters featured in Oblivion, which is great since the Monsters in Oblivion would take forever to kill if you got as far as level 50. The addition of perks is also welcomed, because the leveling was pretty bland at times. Dual-Wielding will also finally let me make my killer enchanted weapons combo. Overall, there's nothing in gaming I'm more excited for than Skyrim.

  • Mass Effect is my kind of game. Heavy on story and dialogue, with a supernatural twist to it. And space travel. It's the perfect blend of Star Trek and Star Wars, and I adore the first two games.

  • Batman Arkham Asylum was one of those rarest breeds. A licensed superhero game that was really, really good. Better yet, it's probably the best superhero game ever made, which makes expectations for the sequel almost unbearable.

  • I love Forza. There's just something taking a small 1,3 litre hatchback and putting 700 BHP in it, that I find immensely appealing, even if it completely ruins the car.

  • While I own a Wii, I rarely play, preferring my Xbox. But a new Zelda game is a pretty good reason to dust off the system.

  • Wow, it's a cartoony, squad-based shooter. Artistically it kinda looks like Team Fortress, but it still looks like it'll be different enough.

  • This is the same deal as the Kinect game, except I like MMOs more. While I abandoned WOW 3-4 years ago now, I really like RPGs and I'd be willing to take a look at this.

  • I never really got down with the multiplayer shooter in contemporary settings. The closest I really came was Socom on PS2. But if I had to pick a shooter to play this year, the game I'd pick up would be Battlefield 3.

  • While I'm not really into Halo either, I at least enjoyed going through the campaign, and I played a few rounds of multiplayer.

  • I have to come clean here. I did not care for BioShock. I played through the game and only after the big story twist did I kinda like the game, and then it twisted some more and I didn't like it anymore. Still, BioShock carries a lot of weight and even if it's not for me, I'd like to see more.

  • While I played through Gears of War Co-op, Gears of War 2 failed to enthuse me. I think it's probably because I've found something about that style of gameplay a little...

  • I don't own a PS3, but Uncharted 3 kinda fascinates me(that said, I'd have fallen squarely in the Batman camp back in 2009, even if I had a PS3).

  • While I used to play Street Fighter too, it was less in quantity, but I have at least kept up with the series. In many ways, I think Capcom's take on Tekken would be more interesting than Namco's take on Street Fighter...

  • I used to play a lot of Tekken around 10 years ago. I haven't played since T5, but this looks at least interesting.

  • While I don't own Kinect and thought this looked unresponsive in the demo they gave at the Microsoft Conference, I still have some love for Star Wars, and of all the Kinect games, this is the most likely purchase from me(which isn't saying much).
