@support the new player doesn't seem to save my location.
I listened to some of the podcast, paused, went on lunch, came back and there was a error that the video could not be played.
When I refreshed the page, it started at the beginning.
Using the latest Chrome, this time on my work Mac, but it has happened on my home PC on the latest version of Windows 10 with the latest Chrome. It has happened a bunch of times since moving to this player.
I've hated that we can't avoid filling the pockets of anti-human-rights regimes ever since I learned about Tencent buying everything and the Saudis with SNK.
But what do we do? Unless we go full distopean cyberpunk but we'd literally have to steal everything, including net access 😅.
Having a bunch of accessibility options in a games is the best. This game has a ton too. But the designers didn't realize (or care?) that by doing what they did to their default vision of the game, they ended "disabling" a lot of otherwise "abled" players, or frustrated them at least.
I just had a major dark pattern experience and it was from one of your sponsors (former sponsors? it's been a while since I heard an ad read...).
I got an email saying my subscription is confirmed. I went to the site and checked my account to see what was up. I saw a subscription order and quickly tried to delete my stored credit card info (which I forgot to remove after ordering my first product there). Finding out how to unsubscribe took a while because on the site a subscription is referred to as different words around the site. Finally when I said cancel, it did the "are you sure" modal with the passive aggressive CTAs... THREE DIFFERENT WAYS, one after the other. I was appalled, especially since they claim to give to charity with each order.
I sent an angry email (because I am old) but it will probably just go to support and then ignored.
