It has been a while since I posted anything, but I want to express certain games that I want to become reality. My thoughts on this have changed since the last time I did this as my tastes may have slightly evolved and some of the games I have wanted to happen before seem to have happened (i.e. Crash Bandicoot 4, DB: Sparking Zero, Okami 2, etc.). It is time to do this again!

Crash Bandicoot 4 has already been out for a few years now. I personally enjoyed it although it definitely was an insane (N. Sane) game to play if you're trying to get everything (I did not do this, it would have driven me mad, I'll do it another time). That being said, a Crash Bandicoot 5 WAS in development, but it has since been sadly canceled. So what do I want? Well... I want Crash 5 to come back! I want to combine this with my desire for a Crash Mania type of game like Sonic Mania. I want a classic styled Crash game with callbacks to various other games. Crash 4 takes place in its own continuity so I would love it is Crash 5/Mania reintroduced post-Naughty Dog characters such as Crunch, Nina, N. Trance, and more. Also, I would hope that Crash 5 will be a little less crazy on the collectibles.
I would love to see Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot to get the Return to Dream Land Deluxe treatment (Triple Deluxe Ultra and Planet Robobot Deluxe). Triple Deluxe Ultra could have a Taranza epilogue that has him exploring the Mirror World and Planet Robobot Deluxe could have a Susie epilogue that has her exploring cyberspace or something of the sort (for spoiler reasons). Otherwise, I would also enjoy seeing a proper RPG spinoff. The Kirby Clash games were an interesting experiment as was the RPG minigame in Mass Attack, but I would like to see a more traditional JRPG styled approach. Kumazaki himself is pretty big on RPGs and even has some nice detailed art regarding various RPGs so it would be interesting seeing him write a Kirby RPG story.
Yu-Gi-Oh! based video games have so much potential that I feel is being squandered by only having card game simulators as its only type of game now. This is not a knock against stuff like Master Duel or Legacy of the Duelist which are both good, I just wish there was more variety. The GBA games for example, had you exploring towns and talking to characters and some of the console games like Duelists of the Roses or Falsebound Kingdom were these wacky RPGs with RTS elements. I want to see more of that! I want to explore a world, collect cards, challenge duelists in various towns, explore the various unique game mechanics in this journey, and I want a story that gives significance to it all. It doesn't even need to be based on the anime or manga at all (references would be welcome of course), it just needs to be a fun card collecting, card battling adventure.
Cel Damage 2 was in development and was then unfortunately canceled. A grand tragedy indeed seeing as Cel Damage itself is already severely underrated. If I recall correctly, the devs rebranded and founded a new studio, but they still own the rights to the IP. With that being the case, I truly hope they can get either the funding or a publisher to help them in creating this lost sequel. This is of course assuming that the interest to create the game is still there.
I am still asking for that Symphonia remake. Bandai Namco PLEASE stop porting this over and over again, just remake the damn game at this point. Listen, Tales of Symphonia is one of my favorite games of all time, I love it to death, but man... I really would love to get a full on remake of this game. Tales is supposedly Bandai Namco's flagship RPG franchise and Symphonia is basically their Final Fantasy VII. Now regardless of how you feel about FFVII Remake, you can at least acknowledge that Square Enix knows how to give attention to their biggest entry. I just cannot understand why Bandai Namco is like this when it comes to Tales of Symphonia, let alone the rest of the entire franchise...
I have only played Phantasy Star IV, but I enjoyed the game for sure. I recently was informed of a tabletop RPG adaptation of Phantasy Star being developed by Skydawn Games. It seems to be somewhat based on the 5E system. Anyways, I have an insane idea and you need to hear me out on this... what if... what if a studio like Larian developed Phantasy Star V, a CRPG Phantasy Star game. Now I know what you may be thinking, "that is utterly bonkers, why would you want such a thing!?" Listen, I get it, it's pretty crazy. Let us break it down, yeah? Okay so basically we all know that Phantasy Star Online has permeated the franchise's rep at this point, there is no escaping it. I do feel like if a Phantasy Star V were to happen that mechanics from the Online styled games would likely make their way in there. That being said, I do think that having Phantasy Star V be a CRPG would be an intriguing way of marrying classic Phantasy Star and PSO based mechanics/gameplay. I also just have this burning desire to see a cross between a CRPG and a JRPG. I really want to see the outcome of such a union. Seeing Phantasy Star get a tabletop RPG is pretty close already, but I think the leap can be fully made; we can get the fabled modern Japanese CRPG. Give it some thought, imagine something like BG3 or Wrath of the Righteous with Phantasy Star setting and mechanics.
Marvel Rivals looks so awesome! It is a great shame however, that I have no interest in such type of games. I do not particularly care for online multiplayer experiences in general. I do love its aesthetic and how the combat looks though and I believe that these aspects could be applied to another type of game. I want a 3D Marvel fighter. The Marvel Capcom fighting games are cool and all, heck MvC2 is one of the best games of all time and I am nostalgic for it, but the truth is... I do not actually enjoy 2D fighters that much. I am much more partial to 3D Tekken style fighters and 3D arena fighters personally. Thus, I would love to see a Marvel fighting game in the vein of Tekken/SoulCalibur OR something like Power Stone/Ultimate Ninja Storm. Marvel has a huge roster of characters and it would be amazing to see a lot of these characters duke it out in such a manner never seen before!
I want another Pipeworks style 3D arena fighter with a bigger roster. Godzilla is back in action so we need a BIG ARENA FIGHTER. GigaBash is filling that niche for now and it looks amazing (I have yet to play it, but I eventually will!), but it is time for THE KING to return!!!
I want Yu Yu Hakusho to get the DBZ Kakarot treatment, but I want it done by RGG studio. A flashier Yakuza-style combat with some DMC demon slaying action in there... seems like a wonderful combination. This is an anime classic written by a legendary mangaka, it deserves better treatment.
