If you're the sort of person who just wants to mindlessly shoot through co-op games with a chatty group of friends, Wildlands is fine for that. Anyone else should probably look elsewhere.
Link's most ambitious adventure is one of Nintendo's crowning achievements.
Guerrilla's got something really special here.
I am enjoying the audio clips a lot. Very relaxing. Not sure I'd spend money on it though.
Sell the damn plates!
@lonelyspacepanda: maybe he saw someone playing it in handheld, which runs a hell of a lot better. They may not run identically bad, but TV mode is still about as bad with framerate.
Even though I'm happy with my Switch, it does irk me that Brad said how Wii U Zelda is fine based on another outlet's coverage and now that he actually played it himself is unhappy with it.
A) Why did Digital Foundry get it so wrong?
B) Why did Brad treat it like gospel and recommend the game to their audience based on that 2nd hand info?
Not angry or anything, least of all because it doesn't effect me, but it does rub me wrong as it is irresponsible and the least he could to is apologize and/or explain.
I'm not sure what you mean. Zelda suffers from drastic framerate drops on Switch as well if it's played on a TV. Which is exactly what Digital Foundry have said. How are they wrong?
Now I get that Scott Pilgrim game.
My favourite game of this type. Jeff didn't care for it.
In the 90s me and my mum went in one of those single electronic public toilets (door was electronic) and it malfunctioned and we were locked inside for like 3 hours. I was about 6 or 7.
@mrcraggle: Brute forcing with clock speed might not yield the results you'd think it would. I'm not a developer so I can't say. I also don't know if everything is identical except for resolution in handheld, though it seems like it.
I will note that several outlets have reported that the framerate drops are far fewer in handheld mode, which leads me to believe it is the 900p resolution on TV that causes it.
A note for Jeff, I really don't think Crackdown 3 will use the scorpio for physics. It wouldn't even run on a high end PC so there is no way it'll work on an Xbox. They have clarified in the years between first showing it and now that the crazy version of the physics would be for multiplayer only. Can't speak to whether that is still true for what they're making but it makes sense. There's a reason they're using 'the cloud' for physics.
I enjoyed watching this video. I liked inquisition a lot. Everything's coming up Milhouse.
