An emulator can be illegal if it uses patetend technology.
 
It is illegal to download ROMs. In most jurisdictions, you're allowed to make a backup copy of your game, as long as you make the backup copy yourself (ie not download it from from the internet). If you sell your original copy of the game, you're no longer allowed to keep your backup.
There is no 24 hours rule, it's a myth.
 
Also, there is a difference between "Is it illegal?" and "Will I get caught for it?".

These lists are horrible. No Dark Souls or BF3 on Game of the Show?
 
Also, Bioshock Infite on the Best original game list? Why...? I'm guessing there were so few new IPs this year that the editors couldn't come up with a 5th game.

I'll never get the One Ping quest though, since I noticed this quest set too late.

Making personal attacks against the developer was pretty lame.
Filing a DMCA complaint against the video was pretty lame too.

I wonder why Youtube removes videos so easily.

This matter won't change my feelings towards Terraria, though. I haven't played a game this much for a long long time.
