@trulyalive: I'd like to talk about it but i only finished the first chapter. I was in a not great mental state when I started it and I couldn't take how profoundly depressing it was from the first page, so I moved to something else. I really need to get back to it.

It seems like living with your failures is a pretty important part of the game. I played the whole thing without restarting but I also somehow got through and only lost once the whole game. I kinda want to replay it and lose every time and see what happens.

I'm gonna put in another word for NieR as well as Automata. Even if you haven't played either it's absolutely worth listening to the soundtracks, which are really beautiful.

@aegon: I haven't done any game design myself but Gamemaker's Toolkit is a pretty good YouTube series on game design. Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but it's good regardless.

There's not anything I can say to make you like it more but I'm not really getting what you mean by it being "edgy". It's humorous but it felt pretty genuine and accurate to the way people talk to me (although obviously funnier than the average person).

@bbalpert: I'm on my third run too and I was having trouble but then I sold a bunch of Machine Cores I had (I had never sold anything before) and used the money to buy a bunch of chips and everything's a lot more reasonable now (I'm level 43 btw).

I also use the Apple Leather case and although it's a bit expensive I really like it.

@aaronmt: This seems to happen every few months for some reason. iTunes pretty frequently decides to use that logo instead of the correct one and since other podcast apps usually use the iTunes database it affects them too. Every time I've reported it they've fixed it pretty quickly though.

I'll second the Met if you like art museums, it's great and enormous.

@sinusoidal: I agree with that pronunciation as well.
