Most Anticipated Games of 2010

Since 2009 marks the year I've officially come back to mainstream gaming, after my 2/3Year MMO stint, I think it's time I made myself exciting about upcoming games... along with a list to reflect that.

I'm also aware that some of the game included in the list are unlikely to be '10 releases, but I can hope.

List Created: 29th December 2009

List items

  • The First game that springs to mind that I'm looking foreward to, played the original in the early half of 2009 and fell in love with the art style amoung other aspects of the game. Especially the ability to make myself very powerful with all that EVE.

Yes, I did kill all the little sisters. It seemed like such a waste to free them after using so much precious ammunition to kill their Big Daddies. Besides, I caught the good ending on YouTube. Ha.

  • I can honestly say I haven't been excited or even been able to engross myself in an MMO since late 2006 when I started playing The Matrix Online; and I've played WoW, AoC and Champions Online just to name a few. I put this down to the fact that the fiction behind all the other MMO's I've trialed hasn't excited me as much as bullet time did.

Now, I really like Star Wars, and especially the KOTOR games produced by Bioware; this leaves me with high hopes for this MMO. An MMO that I'll be pre-ordering at the very least.

  • Not usually a fan of stealthy action games, but in '09 Arkham Asylum rather changed my view. I was very impressed with the footage shown at E3 and I have high hopes for this game.

  • Not expecting to hear much, if anything at all, about this game until 2011. But I can hope.

  • The fact that StarCraft 2 is split into 3 releases is plain stupid. But now that's out of the way I can honestly say I'm excited about this games release. I've never played a StarCraft game before (and maybe I should) but so far I've heard only good things about the franchise and this game.

Plus, usually when I buy game from personal reccomendation I'm never left dissapointed.

  • Just picked up the first from the Steam sale. Only just delved into the first, however my PC is slightly too underpowered to play it right now.

Upgrades and the inevitable purchase of Mass Effect 2 will happen after my exams are done.
