For whatever reason only thing I can picture this show being is a modern-day version of the Kevin Sorbo Hercules.
Sold. Can Xena do cameos?
To be Honest if Lucy Lawless hadn't age she would make a great Yen. She has no problems showing off her body, after Spartacus and Ash vs Evil Dead, and Yen is pretty much like that, although using magic she can retain her 30~40 year old body, even though sh has at least 100+ years.
Having Cavill has Geralt might not be the best choice, not because of his acting skills (i can't speak for superman since i didnt watch them, but in U.N.C.L.E he did a great job i agree with @aktivity on that) but "age" in a sense. Geralt if memory doesn't fail me during the events of Witcher 3 is at least 70~80 years old) but retains the 50 year old body.
As for the Ciri choice, i couldn't care less, i just request its a girl because that's important for the reason why she is special
I gotta agree with what you said here, but you could add that the auto-combo system will only be useable if the player manually sets his character to their "helping" system. Then again I know Tekken is a highly technical game, but it is also visually appealing, so much that my younger cousins want to try it out against me. They can't get pretty frustrated if they start losing a lot, but they are young and will learn when their time comes, but until then I'll let them have their fun with the chars they like mashing whatever they want to mash.
I remember tekken 3 or 4 (the one Eddie was a costume for Christie) where a girlfriend of mine would love to mash Christie moves and would have fun playing it that way. What I'm getting to is should we fighting game fans hate on Auto-combos?! NO. They aren't there for us, they are there for casual folk who like to play some casual fighting game, be that SF, MK, Injustice or Tekken. And for me Tekken is the most beautiful fighting game right now so its not that hard to picture people buying the game for the presentation
My example of the best Boss for an RPG filled with Choices, is actually the Archdemon from Dragon Age: Origins. Its perfect in the sense that the fight itself is hard and tricky (as it should) and brings everyone who you met and choose (in some cases) to the battle.
Its pretty epic and sadly that Bioware never could replicate the same moment in the sequels.
@boss_kowbel: since i posted my ID I got 10 friend requests in a day. Great stuff if you want to trade gifts. Tbh im not that interested in trading, cause i like catching my own. But for items its such a good thing
As I pointed out during discussion either on live chat or on Infinite.
Sony is pretty much already engrossed in the Smart TV business, in a few years internet connections will be fast enough to allow you to buy for example a Sony TV, that has a box on a side panel that will stream your games to your screen. From that just enable bluetooth from the controller to connect to the TV and done. You won't need to buy a console to play games, cause they are all in the CLOUD
@opusofthemagnum: As @jesus_phish: mentioned someone will take the software hit, and since they make their money on software sales while taking a hit on hardware (that still happens though less since they changed the build to reassemble a PC) I can't see them having the interest on doing so.
Now the real move by Sony would be release a PS5 that has backward compatibility from DAY 1 so that users acquired by the huge popularity of PS4, if they should migrate would have the option of playing with PS4 friends, and thats a very big thing cause with popular games like sports games and concurrent games , for example FIFA and Fortnight, where the hardware bump isn't much needed, and still lock them from the Xbox/switch/pc users.
(I voted no) cause in no way Sony is going to throw all their lead up to this point. We might see it with PS5 if sales don't go the way they want to, but if MS gets out of the "console manufacturing" business, it paves the way for Sony to never allow Cross platform play, it would hurt their business.
