@brian_: Yeah, it's good timing because they're not fulfilling pre-orders anymore. Seems like the community is starting to grow recently as a result. And that looks super cool, I think the dragon looks great! Is that a little but of UI in the top-left corner? I still need to experiment with that and learn how to include health, fuel, etc. And thanks so much for trying out Astral Expedition! :)

@manburger: Thank you! It's pretty awesome that people don't even have to own a Playdate to use Pulp and make cool things. Even if it's just small prototypes, animations, or the like, it's satisfying to try out.

If you go too early you still get hit by the bullets, so you have to dash into the projectile(s) at just the right time to get the shield around the character. Felt a bit weird at first but I got used to it pretty quickly. Chain dashing, on the other hand, continues to baffle me. I just can't get the timing down.

It looks like Suikoden II ran away with the win. I'll be sure to purchase/download it. We'll start the playthrough right after Unprofessional Fridays on April 10th.
