I am really sad that things didn't work out for them, I was really looking forward to Sunset. My general problem is that I am not a venture capitalist who can finance games. This is why I refuse to kickstart any games or buy any early access titles. I think developers are leaning WAY to heavily on this model to the point where they have come to EXPECT it. This is not how things usually work, most art is not commissioned, you make it then people buy it. I hope a studio picks these guys up and gives them some resources they lacked while letting them keep their freedom to create.
Anyone tried watching from 2007? A bit odd and disjointed but an extremely entertaining watch and I think extremely underrated. Solid horror with enough strange and dark humor to really keep you on edge.
@probablytuna: Could be true, I just found it hard to believe that that commercial did anything for anyone. It just seemed really stupid, and I would find it extremely hard to believe that that director didn't have VERY specific directions to follow. Compare the amount of dialogue; CG and action in the 3 trailers you mentioned. It goes from very minimal dialogue, All CG in the earlier 2, nearly no action; to the opposite in the Destiny trailer. Seems to me like they wanted a known director, but then forced him to do what they wanted to see anyway.
