I usually buy some of the maps for COD - some years I might even buy all of them - but the fact that people will already have been playing them for a long time before they become available to me as a non-Elite gamer is enough to convince me not to bother getting them when they are finally available to me. I like COD but I'm already playing it far less than I was a few months back for the very reason that the maps already feel old. By the time the DLC drops for me I'll have moved on.

Bad decision by Activision in my opinion.

A flat out racer like this shouldn't be so scripted. The ones where you have to overtake 10 other racers for instance are practically the same every time you repeat the race. I know that the last few cars will always appear just before the finish line. Which inevitably means that it'll take a few tries which just makes the scripting more obvious. Longevity shouldn't have to be manufactured. If it was a truly honest racer it would have the potential to be a good game.

The idea for having a cross country racer is a good one but the way it was executed here is disappointing.

Did Sony get rid of their PS3 website, the one they built specifically for the PlayStation 3 browser? When I try to access the bookmarks I kept it gives me a page not found error.

Physical for precisely the same reason why I buy a DVD over Netflix. I want to own the thing, to have it in my hand so that it's mine forever.

This is true. I think the game looks amazing and plays amazing. Good enough for me, I judge a game on its merits and if the demo is anything to go by, this game has a lot of merit.

I guess the time is coming when you will only be able to order games online. And I don't order any games online because they take forever to arrive and I'm usually out when they do.

You need to do a complete system restore - it's the bottom option in the Format settings menu. I did it before and it worked for me.

No red lights, I've had more than enough of those in the past. But now this 360 Elite is not reading discs. Does this Xbox nightmare ever end? What's the best course of action, repair or just cut my losses. Again.

This was the first thing I thought of after loading it up. Why not let me customize the position of the "panels" to suit me? I also had this idea that at some stage they would increase the 100 maximum on the friends list but they haven't ever touched that since day 1.
