wow, that cover is terrible. I'm not exactly sure how I would show it (as everyone says it is something that has to be experienced), but that's just embarrassing.
Late to the party, but thank you for this. One of my favorite podcasts that I've ever listened to, and did from episode 1 until the last one (and the reunions!)
All Nintendo needs to do is release a Pokemon game on iOS with microtransactions and watch the money pour in.
Sad but true. Microtransactions to buy more pokeballs or something, limit the amount of fights you can do, and they they toss in some sort of match 2 or 3 minigame and you cover most of the F2P games that are on the market.
Everyone I know likes sports, but I have zero interest in anything to do with them (sports = worse than DOTA), so can't quite understand Patrick's logic, but still may check out the stream later out of morbid curiosity.
Edit: Watched 10 minutes... not sure how that was newb friendly, they weren't really explaining anything. Just not for me I guess!
They were really breaking down some of the basics of DOTA during the 10-15 that I just watched. Focusing on wards and their usefulness, item choices, farming, and pushing.
Very cool to see them implement this. I played a bit of DOTA2, but I have trouble following all of the high-level commentary that is in the main stream. Looking forward to watching again this year.
Update one me not being able to login - got it working. The card does a very poor job of showing which are 0s and Os (zeros and letter O) had to swap a couple around and got it working.
Tried to login this morning with the code on the paper and it's a no-go. Keeps telling me the account doesn't exist. Everything was written in all-caps on mine yet it says that it is case sensitive. I've typed it in every way I can think it could have been wrong and still not working. Any ideas?
