Do you think that the quality of Free-to-Play games is better or worse than console games?

What a stupid fucking question.

Any specific reason for this?

The first I noticed to not make it over was the Borderlands 2 QL (not the QL EX) and now the DoA 5 QL.

9 times out of 10 seeing a trilane in a pub is a free win. Pubs have no idea how to run a trilane. They just sit all 3 in lane, no pulling, and if you're smart they get no kills, and they just become underfarmed and underleveled.

The combat is pretty easy. Basically rinse and repeat 2 combos combined with dodging while using a primary and secondary weapon (axe or hammer) that have ice damage (has a chance to freeze enemies on hit) on them. Never use target lock, it's pretty awful with the camera. Just a matter of recognizing patterns and mobs that don't get interrupted by damaged and dodging at the right time.

Single target: LC+pause+LC+LC+RC+LC
Groups: LC+LC+pause+LC+LC

Enemies are constantly getting frozen and knocked back.

Nope. I want to go everywhere anyways to try and find all the secrets, collectibles, and hidden chests.

I dunno, I only see it as an issue if you're only in it for the story. If that's the case, why not just go YouTube it?

The combat and dungeons are where the fun is for me. I'm glad every time they give me more. The story is there to give you just enough purpose and flesh out the world a bit. The areas and dungeons have been pretty varied as well and paced out great. This game is great in piecemeal. Hop in for ~hour and knock out a dungeon.

Aye, game is still great even with all the jank. That really says something.

I've only run into 3 things that bother me.

  1. The Scar bridge bug.
  2. Camera jank.
  3. Map jank.

@Morbid_Coffee: Likely a bind on equip notice. Once you equip it you won't be able to trade it or toss it up on the AH. Also yeah, on those dialogs, you can click the text, ctrl + a, and paste into google translate.

@Anomareh: Wow. Now you're calling Guild Wars an MMO "because the internet said so."

Uh, yeah? If all of the sites reporting on video games and the majority of the people playing that video game consider it an MMO, it's probably an MMO? Not sure how you're even debating that? People comparing all of those pricing models of MMOs to Guild Wars for years because it's obviously not an MMO but is somehow still relevant to that discussion?

@xbob42 said:

Alright dude, now we know where you get your info. Clearly there's no difference between Guild Wars 1 and 2 then, especially since the developers themselves said "The first game wasn't really an MMO, we want a full-fledged MMO with Guild Wars 2." But you go ahead and cite "the internet."

From the description of the game on this here very site at the core it sounds pretty much exactly like PSO 2. Pretty sure it was obvious that by saying "the internet" I was referring to the majority of the people playing it, and nearly every game site in existence, and even non-gaming related sites such as Wikipedia (I even linked to them). Sorry that I'm not taking your word over Wikipedia, Giant Bomb, and <insert any other large well known gaming site>?

@xbob42 said:

My God what a stupid argument. And games taking a long time to be localized "just because."

Not sure how you've come to the conclusion that I have a stupid argument when you haven't even bothered to read it? Pretty sure I said games take a lot more than localization to get released elsewhere.

@xbob42 said:

Talk about argumentative just to be argumentative.

Wat? Pretty sure the guy (who started the argument in the first place) trying to tell me that his opinion is fact and that everyone else besides him is wrong is being argumentative for the sake of being argumentative.
