@taargus_435: Gamecube version from 2005 used tank controls. Analog, yes, but tank controls nonetheless - pushing left/right would rotate your character on the spot. I haven't played every version, but I'm pretty confident that they all play the same way.
"[Resident Evil 4 2005] was never saddled with the clunky tank controls of old." Literally has the same tank movement controls as the four games that preceeded it!
Damn Jess that was a (deserved) Rated M for Mature BURN on PlatinumGames, my hat's off to you until I can regain my composure and wipe the tears from my eyes. [10:50]
I love the Community Spotlight! The GB Community is VAST and there are some wonderfully thoughtful, funny and creative folks among their ranks. This feature is a wonderful way to enjoy some of their work and other highlights of the week, all collected into one page for my perusal and consumption. It's very much appreciated and it'll always have my support!
This game looks fantastic, I've never been a big multiplayer guy but a melee focused seige game sounds great, may just pick this up! I love how chaotic it is, and I agree that with blood everywhere it's sometimes hard to discern in the heat of the moment who allies and enemies are, but I think that's rad and realistic.
I agree with other users - I want to see another playdate with this someday, please!
@cyrusraven: As the resident leader of the GBEast Souls-like Appreciation Club, I hope he sees the light and we get to hear his impressions after his vacation. I am certain he will realize his mistake in either forgetting or dismissing the game when he gets back into the swing of things. Also, I need to hear his thoughts on Stadia. But first, enjoy your family time, Papa Vinny, we all know you've earned it.
I think Alex is going to really like Jack. I'm looking forward to so many moments in this series, can't wait for Alex to see them! Thanks for playing for us, Alex!
@vinny "There's no big games coming out next week." How are you not super excited for Sekiro on 3/22? Its defensive focused, parry/counter-strike swordplay paired with traditional FROM exploration and world design looks SOO good. I for one can't wait.
LostWinds was an early WiiWare game, and a good one. The VR game Jeff's confusing it with is Windlands. Hyped for The Last Campfire, really dig the style!
