I met Danny Trejo

This is what I did for Halloween.  I got to meet Danny Trejo.  It was pretty cool, I don't know what he was doing in Utah, but he was at a haunted house signing autographs and taking pictures.  He seemed like a pretty cool guy.

That's me on the left, and my brother on the right.  Sorry that I look creepy as balls, it was the lighting I swear.  He's also a lot shorter then I thought he was too, although you can't tell much in this pic I was a lot taller then him.  I'm 6'6, and I think he's only around 5'6.

Anyway it was pretty good experience, though there were a lot of people there so we were kind of rushed.  Only got the pic and autograph, and then we had to go.
 Yay! for autograph!

I beat Dead Space it was awesome, oh and I punched my laptop.

Hey I don't usually write a blog, but I thought I'd give it a try because I'm bored

So last night I was bored and I decided to play Dead Space.  I had played Dead Space before but for some reason I got halfway through the last level and then never when back and finished it.  I don't know why.  Well late last year I started playing it again, and I got to chapter 6 and I got distracted by new games coming out and what not.  Well last night I went back and started playing it again, and I ended up playing through the entire game  over about the next five hours.  It was a pretty amazing game!  I won't spoil anything, but the small twist at the end was kind of obvious, but the boss fight was pretty good.  I'm used to being disappointed in game ending boss fights, but I really like Dead Space's.

Also I bought an ASUS laptop back in July and what a piece of shit it turned out to be.  I don't know what the hell was wrong with it, but nothing seemed to work correctly. Windows Explorer would always crash, the battery charger would randomly stop working, but the worst of it was that after only about three months the screen started to go out and break.  It would turn completely white and I would have to tap or move it to get it working again.  Well Friday night it went white and I couldn't get it to stop.  I kept tapping it and moving it back and forth and it just stayed white, until I finally lost my temper and pulled back my fist and punched it as hard as I could on the right side of the screen.  The whole thing just cracked and shattered, and went all these funky colors.  It looked like a rainbow of violence.  I wish I would have taken pictures of it.  The only part of the screen that still showed my desktop was the top left side.  I thought I was screwed.
So the next day I decided to take it to Best Buy where I bought it and see if they would fix it even if I had to pay.  Well it turned out that when I bought the laptop I also bought a warranty for damage that I may inflict on the laptop on accident.  I ended up exchanging my pos laptop for a brand new, different version, of the one I had.  for free.  It was the greatest thing ever.  Hopefully this new one doesn't have a bunch of stupid problems my other one did.

The lesson of the  story is doing something stupid out of anger is a good idea, because it will solve that problem plus a bunch of other problems you may have.

I care more probably

I actually care more about Iphone games now then I did  when I bough my Iphone in March.  I don't know why, maybe because the games are getting better.

Scribblenauts

I was so excited for it I was bouncing off the wall, but when I finally played it the controls were horrible, and I could pretty much do every stage with just a rope and jetpack or wings.

GiantBomb Iphone app.

I just wanted to say thank you to the Giantbomb Iphone app for making my breaks at work the best part of my day.  Now I can watch quicklooks and read awesome game reviews instead of going back to work!  When before I was stuck reading some shitty newspaper article about some guy killing his entire family, now I can watch Jeff and Vinny playing Persona 4.  Thank you Giantbomb.  You're the greatest!
