I really disliked that whole "Battlefield 3 should be only on PC" talk. A couple years ago they were making fun of that Fallout fansite for complaining about Fallout 3 being different, calling them crazy etc, now that Battlefield 3 is in a similar spot, it's ok to be defensive about it and spout bullshit how that game shouldn't be on consoles. I'm not posting this because I'm a Fallout fan or anything, I just thought the whole conversation was almost unbearable and ironic, especially since EA hasn't really said anything about the BF 3 console version. Maybe the console version will feature multiplayer that is focused and streamlined (like Bad Company 2), while the PC version will be that true Battlefield experience.
Here's an example: If you decide to type "I hate assholes" in your motto, you're breaking the rules, but can only get a warning for one misconduct. You decide to update your profile and add: "I hate assholes and christians" it counts 'I hate assholes' again and 'and christians', so now you have three misconducts. If you then change you location, for example, from "Earth" to "Canada", you get another two misconducts because you still haven't removed those profanities from your motto.
At the end of that example you already have 5 misconducts. You're friend might have done something like this and got banned.
" Well the budget for HAWX has to come from somewhere... "
Yeah, it's a shame that Ubisoft rather spends money on crappy Tom Clancy games. BG&E failed in sales though, so I understand why BG&E 2 is cancelled/on hold.
Yeah, everything by Stardock really. Freelancer Risen (Available in Europe, but why would you buy full priced games from Steam if you're european) SWAT 4 KOTOR 2?
" I thought GameFly did not ship outside of the US? Anyways Netflix provides a digital alternative to receiving an actual disc and, from what I've heard, seems to be something of the defacto standard when it comes to streaming movies online. There is no such parallel for video games. "
Well, there is Gametap and Metaboli.
Screened.com movie pages have links to imdb and Rotten tomatoes which is pretty cool, but we all know how indifferent GB is towards something like Metacritic or gamerankings.
