Sorry I posted a new thread without realising the issue was already reported.
I should also add that YouTube live stream looks correct compared to GB live stream on the extra life stream that's currently on, now that we can compare directly as they're streaming to 2 platforms at once.
Just noticed that the image posted above is also slightly darker after uploading than what I see on my screen. But anyway you can still see a small difference in the image.
I've noticed for a while that live video streams on giantbomb.com/chat have crushed blacks, meaning that dark greys are made black and blend in the actual black. It makes some games look way too dark and loses detail in the image. I noticed a previous week when they were playing Hitman 2 Halloween map.
However today is the first time I've tried the YouTube version of the live stream for Extra Life. Brad was playing Noita and I could immediately notice a difference. Please see the screenshot and you will see on the left is YouTube and there are dark grey details that are missing from the right side for the GB player.
(I also noticed that the YouTube stream had frame rate dips every now and then but that's a different issue.)
Now that there are at least 9 videos that are newer than the PokeMonday video in the Latest videos, it's not until I scroll down to load the next 3 videos which includes the PokeMonday video that the app crashes.
On the Apple TV app, from the app's home page, selecting "Latest" crashes the app. (The app goes to a white screen then it pulls you out of the app to the Apple TV home screen.)
I believe this happened yesterday due to me watching "PokéMonday Night Combat - 01/28/2019", then pausing half way through to watch the Giant Bombcast live.
After the Giant Bombcast and the Aftershow had finished, I went back to watch the PokéMonday video but it asked if I would like to resume the video at a time stamp that I think was the end of the video (it said "Resume Playback at 1:37:38") instead of the time stamp of where I previously paused the video. I selected this and then it didn't play the video.
Now going into "Latest" crashes the app, but because I have the Giant Bomb app placed as one of the 5 apps on the top row of my Apple TV menu, it shows the Latest Videos as large thumbnails at the top. So I can watch the latest videos that way but not within the app itself.
I have also noticed after going on the Giant Bomb website that the progress bar on the PokéMonday video doesn't seem to be working properly (and only on this specific video). It shows the progress bar but it is not at all filled in with any red progress. See the screenshot:
I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but that didn't fix anything.
I presume resetting my video progress in the database could help fix it but you don't allow users control over removing progress bars on videos.
