I've dealt with depression for around 5 years, and probably exhibited symptoms of it for close to 10. For me, seeing the "optimum" answer to a prompt, seeing it's not available, and then seeing the available options were the things I had done in the past was powerful. It was upsetting, and it brought 5+ years worth of regret and second-guessing rushing over me.

I'm still really glad I played it.

Nationals fan here. 3-0 with sky high expectations but I'm still adjusting to just rooting for a team that doesn't suck!

I was super excited when it was announced. When I think back to playing Bioshock, I knew nothing going into it, and I made a decision pretty early on after it was first announced that I didn't want to learn any more. I wanted to go in pretty blind, so I could maybe have some of those same experiences. It's been really hard to do so, mainly because there's been a ton of Ken Levine interviews recently and I find him fascinating.

Summary: still excited, just not consuming a ton of media about it and not talking about it since I don't really know much.

Boy, I wish those last ten words applied to more people on more topics. Specifically at work, but for life in general.

Half Life 2 was literally unplayable for a period that I remember as being at least a week. I've spent a few hours playing SimCity already. It doesn't excuse it, but contextualizes it for me. The HL2 problems were, as I understood at the time, universal.

By far, my favorite hour from PAX East last year was the Gamers with Jobs panel with Ken Levine and Jeff Green. They were thoughtful, funny, engaging, entertaining, and fascinating. Ken Levine is one of the people in the games industry that if he's talking, I'm listening. I might not always agree, but I don't have to try very hard to learn something new.

I had a great experience with the beta last night, but I'm more excited to see that other duders did too. It's a small sample size, but if they were testing server stability and load capacity, it seems like things were a success. I couldn't be more excited for Tuesday!

I don't think this is a bug, but apologies if this should be in that forum instead.

I love the Games page and wanted to try to use it to find non-Fire Emblem games like Awakening. Unfortunately, I can look for games in the "Strategy" genre or the "Role Playing" genre, but not both, like Awakening is tagged with on it's game page. This seems like it would be a cool, really useful ability. I also understand there may be some technical limitations...or am I somehow missing that this is something we can do already?

@reckless_x:Thanks for the link. I saw that Norm was doing some streaming yesterday too - do you (or anyone!) happen to know if his stream is archived somewhere? I'll take a look around myself later and update this post if I can find it.
