My idea to fix the political problem

My idea is that all of OT besides the Introduce Yourself, Staff Edit thread and Music Discussion topic be locked as any other topic would likely have some bearing on the real world and could thus be considered 'politics'.

What's up with....multiplayer only content?

Greetings once again from the land where democracy is funny!
Today, I talk about content available only to those with wi-fi. More accurately, I bitch about it.
Now, we have reasonably fast internet connections, but it turns out that either
a- My mother is exceptionally well-informed and knows that wireless sucks shit here, or
b- My mother's talking out of her ass and doesnt want another bill on her hands.
Now this would all be well and good. I pick up my DS, start playing FFIII. It's all good, I suck at it, so I check an online guide. There's a guide there to getting the best job in the game. Sadly, it involves having 6 or more friends.
I don't even have 6 friends in real life.
None of them have a DS.
I don't have wi-fi.
Shitsux.
Now, online achievements on my 360, I can understand, as it unlocks nothing but Gamerpoinits, which you need internet to spend, making it a self-defeating loop trying to collect them offline.
I'm also fine with online-only weaponry(weaponry that can only be used online, like the Banshee in Halo:CE). No problem. It would break the balance in singleplayer.
But unlocking singleplayer content online?
No.

Stealth cockroaches and paratrooper ants, unite!

Hey, it's my first blog!
Living in a tropical country as I am, it should come as no surprise that my continual companion(other than people, lol overpopulation) are bugs. This is very unfortunate, considering my natural phobia of insects.
Well, it's monsoon now. That time of year when love blossoms and the power trips. This means that insects are getting driven out of teir normal habitats by the rain.
Now, I should stop here and mention that a special place in my heart is set aside just for cockroaches. They can send me, a 15-year old guy, scurrying out of a room in panic.
Now, in my bathroom, there is a shower and a drain. This is all well andgood, except the drain-designer, in a fit of inspired brilliance, left a huge gaping hole in the center.
Normally this would'nt be a problem, but this was my first year in this new house, and to my unending horror, as I was taking a shower, one of the foul beasts crawled out of the drain and proceeded to attempt a hasty escape. This was foiled by all the water that was sprayed onto it, but it still made it outside. I have'nt seen it since......

Now, on to a happier place, my school. My school is a beautiful place, with many trees. It is my class's custom to hang out underneath these trees while waiting for the classes to open. Along the walls crawl huge(I mean the size of a finger segment) ants, which are red, merrily making their way along their antsy lives.
Fine, all well and good. Howewer, recently, I've noticed, much to my dismay, that these ants take every possible opportunity to leap from leaves on top of people.
Allow me to repeat that, as it bears repeating.
They.
Jump.
On.
People.
And they bite too. Pretty badly.
Their motivations behind this are obviously unclear, but perhaps it is a form of guerilla warfare(in the cockroach's case, and kamikaze(in the ants' case).
Now all we need is for Disney to make a shitty animated- oh wait.....
