"Won't even be close, the first was a great shooter and smarter than most in the genre, but theres many games already better than it. Modern Warfare 2 won't be as impressive as CoD 4, as walking in you know exactly what to expect from it, you won't be surprised by the new features, as it won't really have anything totally different like CoD 4 did. Games already better: Bioshock Mass Effect MGS 4 Portal Street Fighter IV It won't displace any of those, so it won't even be Top 5 material. Top 10? Not going to happen, CoD 4 is in there, but Modern Warfare 2 won't do anything unique enough to dethrone it. "
^ Here, Here.
I totally agree. There is no way that Modern Warfare 2 is going to be considered the best game of this generation years down the line. It'd be more accurate to call it one of the best FPS's of this generation, considering it's revolutionized the genre enough already with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. But yeah, like most people have already said, there are so many better games in other genres that you can't really build a strong arguement as to why it should be considered THE best. I'd put my money on games like Bioshock and THe Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I seem to classify those in different league completely.
It must support WPA2 haha, because I've been playing decent Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on it since I got it. It's just that sometimes my connection is a little sketchy. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to get an optimal connection, all the time.
Can anyone else relate? I've got my wireless security set at WPA2, if that matters at all. I'm not very well read when it comes to routers, I figured there'd be someone who could give me some tips to improve my connection.
SO to someone who didn't play the first game, What do you guys think the results will be of the sequel being multiplatform? I know it was pretty acclaimed on the PC so I don't know what to expect as far as the 360 version. Predictions?
