As I've gotten older, I find it harder and harder to go through games to completion. Especially over the past year since I've graduated college and been looking for work. I also upgraded my PC and loaded up an ishload of games I couldn't run before, and haven't really gotten through most of em yet.
Since everything is totally randomized, I'ma chalk this one up to pure luck. I got to the final dungeon level by falling down a trap hole and not dying. I also killed and ate my cat at one point.
Path of the Warrior. Haven't given the harder difficulties a try yet, but I will soon.
On normal (got my ass handed to me by the aliens on hard, didn't even attempt Delta.)
I was obsessed with this when it first came out. I still have the urge to play every now and again, and I find myself going through at least once a year. Hasn't aged terribly well, especially the enemies, but damn is it fun.
Not very good, but it was really pretty when it came out (put on some intense AA and supersampling now and it still looks nice.)
ZOMG. This one raped me pretty good. Beat it with a Royal (lowest starting soul level, but a good spell, ring, and decent armor to start.)
Had to run this on uber low settings on my laptop a few years back. Those Trigens might be the worst enemies ever conceived in an FPS.
Still one of my favorites, even if it's a total pain to get it running on modern hardware.
Had this on the gamecube (picked it up for PC recently too.) It took up an entire memory card to save the game and it'd CONSTANTLY be corrupted.
Best of the Hitman series, by far.
Easy to beat, but fun story... cliffhanger aside.
I actually think this is inferior to the original. Less repetitive, but it doesn't have the same wow factor.
Normal diff. Enemies take too many hits to die.
Enemies are more balanced. Beat it on hard.
Probably the console game I've replayed the most. Heroic with skulls is challenging and fun.
Meh. I totally love Firefight though.

I beat this shortly after it came out. Recently I went back and played through on Realistic. One of the hardest gaming experiences I've had.
Doesn't deserve all the flack it gets. It's not DX1, but it's pretty awesome. Plus the physics are hysterical (throwing a body 25 feet into the air FTW!)
After the big Ryan scene, I thought it took a massive turn for the worse.
Did not like. Bought it off Direct2Drive and played through to the end so I could send a screencap and get $20 store credit.
This game ruined my GPA in high school. Never finished the expansion, though.

Never owned the original. This was one of the first games I got for my family's macintosh way back when. Scared the pants off of me.

This is the bar for all expansions, in my mind. It's such a huge improvement over the already stellar original campaign and first expansion.
Got a bad wrap for not being as good as HOTU, but it's still awesome. Lots of dragons!
I was hoping for something more on the lines of NWN or BG, but this is pretty damn great in its own right. Waiting for a patch to stop all the crashing in the expansion.
I thought this was the greatest thing ever when it came out. A good story and occasionally fun combat covered up all the glaring technical problems.

BEST GENESIS GAME EVER. This is what encouraged me to ask for a Sega on my 6th birthday.
I wish I still had my genesis. I remember right before the final boss, text appears saying "Here comes the climax!" I thought that was really awesome at the time. Now, with a better understanding of narrative structure, I realize that the climax had in fact occurred earlier, and the final boss marked the resolution of the non-existent story.
The first Zelda game I played. Fell in love.
I thought the Master Quest was a neat take on the game. The Water Temple is easier.
Found this one hard to get into. I put it aside for years and finally went through it to the end last summer.
My justification for buying a Wii. Not having more games like this became my justification for selling the Wii.

I was a huge wrestling fan, and the main character suplexed bad guys. When I was 13, that got me through this tedious game.

My favorite Dreamcast game. It took me two years to get past one of the missions, but once I did it was smooth sailing to the end.
Open ended space combat game. Sign me up! The mission descriptions aptly summarize the later story missions (ie. this is suicide, you will die, etc.)
I was willing to put up with the myriad bugs to get through this. The community patch makes it so much more bearable. One of my roommates got sucked into this one too and blames me for his poor grades.
Phenomenal twist. Bioware really outdid themselves with this one.
Clearly not as good as its predecessor, but it's much darker and mysterious. More disjointed too, but it's still worth the 10 bucks I spent on it.

Liked it in spite of the ill-implemented RPG elements. I have yet to install my copy of the Frozen Throne. Or hit Level 80 in WoW (Lvl 43 Ret Belf Pally FTW!)
I was never much for point and click games, but this one had me laughing all the way through.
If only LucasArts could have done a Star Wars game in this style that was this good. I liked the choice between the paths of Wits, Fists, and Teamwork. Fists was the shortest path, and the easiest (less puzzle solving.)
One of only 2 FF game I've beaten.
I really dug the flexibility of the combat system. I was way too overleveled for the final boss though and cut through him in no time flat.
