I read Jeff, Alex and Ryan's (R.I.P.) and some other peoples reviews as a teenager on GameSpot. My family didn't have great Internet at the time so I mostly just read reviews. (Shout out to Alex's "Burning Questions"!) A year or so later my family got decent Internet speed and I started listening to The HotSpot and watching On The Spot on GameSpot and realized I enjoyed the personalities of the people I had enjoyed reading reviews and such from.

Fast forward a tad past Jeff's firing and all the departures from GameSpot staff, I was told from a friend that Ryan had a podcast Arrow Pointing Down. I started listening and it eventually turned into the Bombcast and the wordpress blog site launched under the name Giant Bomb. The series "How to build a bomb" got me hooked and haven't looked back since.

If you have time to kill I HIGHLY recommend going back and watching the "How to build a bomb" series and really any of the early videos posted on this site.

I subscribed to a bunch of gaming magazines over the years. I had subscriptions too Tips & Tricks, GameNOW, EGM, GMR (EB Games magazine before GameStop bought them out.), OXM and Game Informer. Bummed that I just recently got rid of all of them now...

Awesome! So pumped for this.

So I really enjoyed watching the community and donating last year so I thought I would give it a go this year. I plan on playing a bunch of games on PlayStation 2. Leaning towards playing a bunch of TimeSplitters 2 at the moment. I hope to rope in some friends for some multiplayer fun as well. I have a couple of other good games in mind but I also plan on playing some garbage for your amusement such as Trigger man and Bad Boys: Miami Takedown. Can't wait!

This is a common occurrence from publisher's that aren't as "high profile". It's usually a day or two at most for the games to get to retailers after street date. Shipping used to be WAY worse last generation. I remember waiting 4 days for Groove Games Pariah for the Xbox to arrive at my EB Games at the time.

If it was Everybody Mosh I would have given this a shot.

Even though I'm on the fence about this I'll probably still end up getting this.

I am going to say fuck putting the brothers in arms name on this. Schindlers List starring Danny Trejo.
