I know launching a satellite is not interesting but:
1- It's Domestic.
2- It's property of a junkish country.

Is junk a derogatory term for something other than trash/unwanted things?

Well, regardless, I think it's pretty funny that Iran is claiming to now have "broken into the space race". I'm fairly certain that race ended decades ago...

Junk is a term used to define junks and every thing that belongs to that junk. anyway this satellite is essentially junk, but it's their first try.

Traditionally, we don't use the word we are describing in it's definition.

Got it. So I should use junk to describe junk, but only if it entails junk being associated with junk. Thanks for clearing that up.
I don't know, I'm always fairly impressed by shooting something into space, regardless of who does it or what it is for.

When I first came to this thread I thought we had finally started blasting junk into space...I mean, why not? Besides cost, of course. Just shoot that shit into the sun. Landfills are overrated.
