Hearing the phrase "deserted airport" and my brain can't even comprehend what that'd be like.

Pretty positive on this reveal. Lot of the games looked cool and the ones I don't know much about, I'm at least intrigued by. I like the look of the system, just curious how much cheaper the digital-only option will be. Was planning on going all-digital next-gen regardless, but if it's only slightly cheaper, I feel like might as well just get the disc drive.

Vinny just shut down any mention of the chat in the past couple parts, wouldn't say it's Alex's fault. It's understandable, seems like he started losing interest and just wanted to finish the series and move on without getting sidetracked. Shit happens, and I think the forced aspect of playing a certain amount of time in one sitting on camera made it less fun for him. Either way, I'm ready for them to move on to other games.

Realize I'm quoting an old comment on an old video here, but I think the issue for Vinny was more that he didn't want chat walking him through the entire game and he wanted to explore for himself. That's how I read it, at least. Not blaming Alex or the chat, by any means, but I can understand wanting that sense of discovery that everyone else got to have their first run through.

@decaped: The reason is Activision's increased influence in the last few years.

There's never been a movie I've wanted to love more than Blade Runner. I go back to it every couple years trying to find the love for it. Love 2049, though, so one of these days maybe I'll finally "get" the original.

"More politics in Mario Party than Metal Gear" is the most Dan Ryckert thing I think I've ever heard him say. What a way to go out.

Bummer but can't say I'm really surprised. Always seemed like his two biggest passions (three, counting Taco Bell, I guess) were wrestling and video games, so only makes sense for him to make this transition. Dan's energy is part of why I got so hooked on Giant Bomb in the first place, and the stuff the Beast crew has made since he got out there has been especially good.

Watch Robocop again, Jeff!

I love Control. I love the world and the atmosphere. I love the way the movement feels and that gunplay takes a backseat by the end of the game. I love the way the text pops on screen as you enter a new location. I love monster fridges that hurt you when you stop looking at them. That's a number 1 I can get behind. Thanks, Jeff!

Been meaning to play Void Bastards. Love the style of it, seems like a game I'd really dig, just there are too many games!
