Expansive universe, compelling story, incredible characters and gameplay. If this game hadn't been delayed till 2010, it probably would have easily been my GotY in 2009.

Having played through dozens of Dragonball Z games over the years, it was a real eye opener to see just how well a cell shaded anime fighting game could be. After this, I refuse to touch any DBZ game with a barge pole.

As this year began, I promised myself that I wouldn't get sucked back into a new pokemon game.
Unfortunatley Heartgold then came out.

Like FFXIII - screw the haters. I played the 1st two fable games to death, and will likely do it again for this one. If Lionhead had had another couple of months to polish this baby off, it probably would have made my top 3 easily.

This was a no-brainer for my top 10. Whilst I may have been burned out after 9 years of Halo, this is still in my opinion, the best shooter ever made, and beats the tar out of any COD game.
