There Will Be Blood
I have a friend who refuses to watch it because he said it looks boring from the trailer, and I can't even explain to him the cinematic awesomesauce that he's missing out on.

Ridiculous. Does Microsoft have any idea of the economic climate in which they are raising prices :|

Dragon Rising was actually a heck of a lot of fun once you got into it. No other game gave me the same kind of tactical experience.

The game is certainly not lacking in competitive things to do, but for co-operative things to do, it has shit all. Like the OP said, hunting and gang hideouts? That's it? I don't really care about team deathmatch or Gold Rush or any of that shite - I just want to do dick around with my friends and kill AI players with some sort of common goal. This game was several years in the making - they couldn't have put in some co-op missions for you to do completely separate from the single player? They couldn't put in the bounty system so that you and your posse could hunt bounty together? Or how about having bounty on a single person applied to your entire posse, that way you and your friends could fight the law together. Hell, they could have just made the multiplayer world a little more populated so that you'd have more fun riding between towns. I can't even believe that they didn't even add some kind of Horde mode to the game, considering every single shooter has a version of that now. Don't even bring up the hunting as a version of Horde mode - that shit is retarded.
I love the game, and the single player is a blast. but Rockstar is seriously lagging behind when it comes to multiplayer. The only appeal of multiplayer in GTAIV was blasting fools with rocket launchers and running them over with cars. This game doesn't even have that.  They really oversold the freeroam in this game and it's a gigantic let down.

You literally can't do anything once you're in the wagon - you are in the back of the wagon, hiding. I've recruited everyone possible for for the mission, and there's no other save other than my last auto save and my last manual save. Tried both, didn't work.

About to start the mission where you assault Fort Mercer (cleverly titled the Assault on Fort Mercer) and everytime the mission starts with you in the back in the wagon, it doesn't move. The horses make the "moving" animation, and the sound of them walking occurs, but they aren't moving at all. Unfortunately, I can't even get out of the wagon so I have to load from a previous save. I've reloaded the game three different times and I keep getting that bug.
Anyone else have this problem, and is there any possible fix?

This is specious reasoning all over the place. Just from the 35 minutes of footage I saw on this site and another 12 minutes I saw over at GamesRadar, the game already seems balanced with counters for all the armour abilities, or equipment as you call it. The invisibility isn't total, and it definitely doesn't last as long as Active Camo did in any of the previous games did. The walkthrough on GamesRadar showed that a person using the invisibility who isn't using it smartly would be pretty visible to everyone else.
The personal shield/turtling ability can be really effective, but can also leave you really vulnerable. As Bungie's Luke Smith pointed out, people are learning new strategies with the personal shield, like turn it on and hope that the dude who was shooting at you gets killed by one of your teammates. These abilities hardly make you as invincible as you're making it sound. The jetpack makes you a giant flying target, the Elite roll could take some practice and getting used to, and there are others that I'm forgetting at the moment.
The very second and third sentences in your post show contrary you are to your own point - Halo and Halo 2 were hardly balanced if one weapon dominated all the others. In Halo Reach it seems like every weapon and ability has a successful counter to it. Someone dominating with the DMR or the pistol? There's the needle rifle to combat that.

This is just Bungie trying to bring Halo into the modern age, because their multiplayer was archaic as fuck.
Also LMAO at this statement

What ever happened to players having to earn their kills? The #1 game on XBL is Modern Warfare 2. And the majority of kills you get on that game come from Predator missiles or harrier strikes. You don't really have to pull the trigger once you get 5 kills, just lie in the corner and wait.

Wasn't Blood Money enough of a success to justify a new game? With some of that Squeenix money, I'd like to see a new Hitman on a new engine.
WIth new owners, I'd like to think that a new Freedom Fighters isn't so farfetched either. COME ON!
