The Sherlock Holmes games are decent, my favourite is Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened... Cthulhu f'taghn and everything. But really that one is probably if you ask me the best Sherlock Holmes game so far, even if Testament is really good too. Other's I'd mention are Post Mortem and Still Life games.
More swinging towards horror direction is the Silent Hill franchise, Lone Survivor which is essentially a Silent Hill game in 2D with just as twisted and weird as its inspiration. The last one I'd say if you want mystery try Home, it is a game with open narrative that lets you decide upon finding clues what might have happened and string together from those pieces a story of what happened.
Half-Life 2 "Bronze Edition" was the first thing I had on steam. Well back then it was the thing that made you install steam. To be honest, I ended up playing more of CSS. After that I forgot about steam for a long time, until I decided to get Mass Effect 2 in 2010.
Xenonauts, because I felt like playing something that would be challenging. Plus I kinda wanted to replay the original XCOM but in the end went with Xenonauts because I had the game since it was on Desura's alpha funding and thought I should really give it a go. Now loving it, it has polish of modern games and it still induces the furious anger of the old XCOMs. If you thought Enemy Unknown was too easy, I suggest you give this one a try, it is great.
There are a lot of games where I enjoyed the licensed part of the soundtrack. Some of them you guys have already mentioned like: Alan Wake, GTA Vice City, Saint's Row 3 (the one moment when "Holding out for a hero" starts blasting is one my favourite musical moments in video games), THPS 1 and 2, Burnout Paradise or the different NFS games, Brutal Legend. I'd also specifically mention SSX 3 which surprised me a lot with how much I enjoyed all the different genres, while at the time I would almost strictly listen to rock\metal.
Thunderstone Advance is a really good and fun deck-builder.
I also really enjoyed the Resident Evil Deck-building game... but that seems to click with some and not so much with others so take this recommendation with a bit of caution.
Really depends on the game, there are games I gave up about 15 minutes after starting them or there are games where I gave about 20 hours before dropping them.
