Yes, very good game. It may be rough around the edges (very rough at times), the translation of the pen and paper RPG into computer form is well done and the writing is almost second to none (okay it MAY not beat Planescape Torment but it is still at minimum on the level). The game gets a lot more playable during the later parts with the community patch.

Persona 3 FES - And I am not really even a JRPG guy. But there is something about Megaten games and especially the Persona spin-offs that just clicked with me really well. P3 is for me the most recent game I'd give a perfect score. Finished it around october last year. Now going through Nocturne\Lucifer's Call and gotta say that this one is pretty awesome as well.

Easiest (optional) Boss: I would have to say Pursuer, dunno... once I figured out how to properly dodge his strikes I never got hit again and he's really stupidly easy once you spend a round or two fighting him.

Easiest (non-optional) Boss:The Rotten, maybe it is my playstyle (magic\miracles\hexes ftw) but this guy is really, really easy. Killed him always on my first go, even on playthrough no.1. The only times I died were when I was "farming" this blob for the Lucatial's side-quest, when she died I felt like it was faster to die as well rather than having to wait for the game to let me quit.

Hardest (optional) Boss:For whatever reason I always have probelms with Royal Rat Authority. It is in a way pretty much reskinned Sif, but still this oversized rodent manages to kill me so many times, no matter what build I play. I can be caster, quality or strenght build and I still get off'd again and again, the number of deaths here makes even Smelty pale in envy.

Hardest (non-optional) Boss:I always dread fighting Lost Sinner. Especially on NG+, I have considered trying to parry her... her strikes are not impossible to parry, right? Anyways she's fine until those damn pyros come into play. At times I felt like snapping the controller but resisted the urge, fortunately.

Easiest area:Black Gulch, even with all the poison statues around staggering the PC I have died here only once and that was my very first time venturing here, got eaten by the black "tar monsters" from one of the puddles. Then came back with a revengeance and fire longbow...yeah I was mad.

Hardest area:It has to be Shaded Ruin. Those lion warriors almost completely resisting the better damage outputs I had (magic and infused weapons) having to resort to meager but rather effective raw infused mace. What didn't help were all the curse pots scattered across the level. And on my first time here I managed to get Ornifex killed when I opened the door to her cell and the basilisks went inside after me...

Easiest Enemy:That is hard to decide since a lot of them fall quite quickly when you're a caster...maybe the Old Knights in Heide's Tower of Flame. The lame brothers to the drakekeepers. Then again I had zero problems with drakekeepers as they are as well ridiculously weak to hexes and lightning.

Hardest Enemy:Lion warriors, they feel to me like a series of mini-bosses as I have to dodge around their attacks and they can withstand a lot of punishment before finally going down.

Intentional or not the laughing scene in FFX is still really freaking goofy and bad. But it was a fun game and I'm considering picking up the remastered version of that and X-2. Weirldy never got into the FFXIII series, I'm about 25+ hours in FFXIII and just stopped, not sure why. Probably just there is nothing to drive me to play some more.

I used to watch those but eventually stopped and now if I ever want to see if I'll like a game I watch quick looks and someone doing a let's play. Just to see a bit of the game in motion and then decide.

edit: I had pretty much the same problem, but in the end it got solved when I met one person that 'clicked' with me and then other people snowballed on the relationship and now I have a group of very close friends that I would never had if I hadn't met the friend that managed to find her way through my 'walls'. I really hope the counseling helps, every change should be welcome.

@sgtsphynx: I was in the same situation. Downloaded it because people around told me it is good. Felt really stupid, but played it in the end. Gonna play it to see how stupid it is and then laugh in their faces. And I have to say that the game is quite enjoyable, if you feel weird there is option to turn off any of the 'adult content'.

@danthegamer32: The bone shield's description (dragon acolyte drop in Aldia's Keep) heavily implies that. And I'm with right there with you. Actually that was one of the first things I was convinced of when it came to lore. Nashandra calls ancient dragon "fake" (directly in cut dialogue, suggests that it's fake through actual in-game dialogue) and I think Shaloqoir (screw her name) also hints at the nature of the dragon. Plus the fact that it drops giant soul kinda makes it a solid theory combined with all the item descriptions and location of the actual ancient dragon soul.
