I enjoy that it seems half self aware and half oblivious.
Glad that Life is Strange and Fallout 4 didn't make it to the top ten.I think the strong anti-Witcher sentiment is completely bonkers, though. I had to stop the podcast, and go look at the list to see if Witcher 3 made the list at all. If it hadn't, I don't think I could have continued listening to it.Obviously, personal opinions are fine, but hearing Dan make really flawed arguments about The Witcher was really hard to listen to. "If it was good, you'd have finished it" is perhaps the worst argument I've ever heard on one of these podcasts.
Also, when I was at the three-fifths point of Life is Strange, I was really high on it too.But that last two-fifths is really bad. The reveal of the killer sucks something awful, and the dichotomy at the end is eye-rollingly bad. Never in my decades of video game experience has a game turned so sour so quickly. For me, it went from GOTY contender to a game I actually loathed.
Boooooooooo at all of the Witcher 3 shit-talking. BOOOO!
I appreciate Swery's brand of insanity.
This is like the very opposite of my list. Different strokes, et cetera.
Good to see your list make it here, Patrick.
ETA: Also, it's nice to see some pushback on Fallout 4 from you.
While I didn't really love this game, I truly appreciate that they 1) made something for Christmas day, and 2) tried something different. Thanks for all of the hard work!
I appreciate the way Jeff and Drew handled the "Nobody is more authentic than Kid Rock" reference.
