Every time this game goes on sale, I think to myself "Should I bother investing in this? It's really cheap now."
I played the beta and was pretty underwhelmed. To date, I still have not bought in, and I feel pretty good about it. The business and creative decisions around this game make me uneasy.
This seems like a LOT of moving pieces. I dunno if I'm up for another incredibly long and complicated open world game just yet. Might pick it up in the doldrums of mid-2016.
So is Steph a mute? Would have liked to hear her reactions to what she's doing, instead of having the video narrated at me by someone while another guy from Avalanche pops in every now and then to remind us he's there.
It's blowing shit up in a sandbox, we get it, but the number of guests was just overkill.
This is a pretty common way of demoing games. I've seen countless devs get on stage with a person to narrate and a person to play.
